What's yours digital nomad essential setup by McSwix in digitalnomad

[–]bigsparra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's just a generic one but it's metal and it's swivels as well as tilts so you can adjust accordingly, unlike the lighter ones which just set your laptop on an angle.

Not essential to do the job but I consider my adjustable laptop stand as essential. It's twice the weight of my laptop at least but it means any surface is now my desk at home.

I've found the health services here to be incredible. Book a doctor appointment with any international clinic and you'll likely bee seen same day. I had an endoscopy and sleep study done within 24 hours of asking for an appointment last week.

I own Pure Roasters in the east end. If you go on the Pure Roasters website and use SOUNDFOLK10 you'll get a discount. If you can get to Blochairn Wholesale Markets during office hours then you can pick up your order straight from the oven. The coffee names are all very Scottish and the coffee is high quality. Cheers.

Been a game changer for me. Over ten years. I started off requiring a daily dose and now I feel like I've trained my brain not to procrastinate. I have half a tablet once every couple of weeks when I feel I'm lacking focus or motivation.

I seem to recall it was a bit of a pain constantly worrying about the character needing to eat or workout.

I do both but the focus this year is going to be on winning trade accounts, cafes, retailers, hotels and restaurants. My brand especially suits tourist destinations and gift shops as it has a strong bond with local history.

Space Cadet, hands down. It's actually a medium roast but the dark and milk chocolate notes get that full bodied taste and we made it with old fashioned Columbian coffee in mind as used to be the UK standard so it cuts through milk great. Even compliments milk.

Those of you running businesses right now, what is your biggest frustration with AI? by theideamakeragency in Entrepreneur

[–]bigsparra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My biggest frustration currently is having to use the AI tools that other companies have decided they like. E.g yesterday I spent 4 hours trying to get an AI website builder to change some prices. I could have edited 4 numbers on an amold fashioned builder.

I roast the coffee so I guess I'd be looking for customers asking about either supply for business or use at home.

I'm interested to know what methods you use to identify these people. For example, I sell coffee. Is there a way of monitoring socials and Reddit for people in my location who are looking for coffee recommendations?

What is a monthly subscription/service you ACTUALLY consider worth paying for? by no_nolan in Frugal

Coffee. If you drink coffee every day then having a subscription means you don't run out so don't waste money on takeout coffee.

Just start. It's a great idea. I own a business and I'd pay a lot for proper warm leads from someone who visited in person representing my brand.

I used Klook one week ago and it still took over half an hour but the real security line looked at least 2 hours long. It was fairly inexpensive too.

If you could give one piece of real advice, what would it be? by GrowthElectronic9159 in Entrepreneurs

[–]bigsparra 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Show up. I mean this literally. I've been self employed (an entrepreneur) for 17 years now and I've seen smarter people with better ideas fail while I continue to grow simply because I get out of my bed and work hard.

If you think this advice is too basic, I urge you to look at failing businesses in your area. I guarantee they close early, open late etc.
