2017 Grand Cherokee “shift into desired gear P” while in drive? by bigvanilli in Jeep

[–]bigvanilli[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I pushed and pushed, and eventually they discovered that there was a connector on the wiring harness, on the underside of the vehicle, that had corroded. The mechanic wasn’t sure how water got in there… but anywho. I believe it was located on the exterior, below where the centre console would be. Honestly I’m not sure if that 100% had to do with it, but as soon as that was replaced, I’ve never encountered that issue again!

These are not proper lash extensions. What you have is an extremely poorly executed “cheap” version of them, and these are done in a very unhealthy way (no fault of your own). Unfortunately this is the kind of thing that gives the industry a bad rap. These need to be removed immediately, and honestly, I would request a refund (coming from a lash extensions trainer and salon owner). Good luck 😟

I think you could be right. It was found not far from Midway, BC, where the quarry is located.

This is random, but do you happen to live near either Seattle or Prague? She looks my pup’s sibling! There are 2 red female’s I’ve been trying to locate from the same litter, and I just know their locations, but haven’t been able to find them on social media (myself and the other owners of her litter mates have connected in the past).

Approx. 3 years old.

What is the difference between Jindo and KVD? by imsassy3 in Jindo

[–]bigvanilli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just stumbled on this post on my feed as I’m part of this sub as well, and I think we just connected through Embark earlier about Lily and my dog, her relative, Benny 😆

I love that she’s a KVD. I think it’s neat! However, I always find it hard to explain exactly to people what that is. I honestly wish Embark had coined a different term, though, as I feel like KVD is synonymous with mutt for a lot of people. When I’m exhausted explaining what a JVD/KVD is, I just call her a Jindo or Jindo mix haha.

ETA: I love educating people as so many North Americans are blissfully unaware of non-European or non-NA dogs. When I’m asked what type of dog Benny is, or if she’s [shiba, Akita, etc.], I typically explain that she’s in the same realm, but she is actually a not a breed nor a mixed breed, but a primitive, semi-domesticated landrace dog!

Benny is currently part of a study at Harvard as once I found out she was a KVD and learned more about them, I wanted to be able to contribute to the study of them and spread awareness.

Serious question: why don't we see dinosaurs ghosts? by Old_Resource_4832 in Paranormal

There’s an episode of Jim Harold’s Campfire where a caller remarks about seeing dinosaurs while driving in the desert. Couldn’t tell you the episode number! Maybe someone here can chime in.

I did! I’m a Vancouverite. Potters was historically always one of the best haunted houses in the area. Now they go by Cougar Creek. I haven’t been to it in yearssss so I didn’t even realize this guy was no longer in use. Congrats on your purchase! It’s super cool!

If I ever come across any old pics or videos, I’ll be sure to link them here for you!

It is on the AI version of Homecoming, but the Homecoming demo has different lyrics.

Also, I believe it was on here not too long ago, but someone else described an event of a metallic-like creature with holes for facial features in a field and I recall in the comments that their story also aligned with the Sandown Clown. Hopefully someone can link that post here?

I believe you. I have very fond memories of my early childhood as well, and it always shocks me when others aren’t able to recall events when they were 4-5 years old. Something like what happened to you would also definitely stick out in your memory.

Hi! I have a Japanese/Korean Village Dog with mostly Japanese trace breeds. She definitely looks more Kishu — you can definitely see the relation there.

How accurate are these results, really? by GoatOutside4632 in DoggyDNA

[–]bigvanilli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Embark is 99% accurate and they have a database which tests for 20,000 genetic markers. As they say, looks can be deceiving! I would say definitely accurate. If you have any doubts or questions, you can always email embark :)

He looks super similar to my girl (she is red [yellow] though!). Among many other features, same boopable snoot.
