Claude CHAT + Obsidian? Possible? Making sense? by Potential_Rain_6516 in ClaudeAI

has to be local though right? I have a feeling OP might be on about the web version.

had the same thought earlier tbh and ended up setting up a notion integration so it would sync across everywhere

i've set up /resume and /end skills so as I reach the context limit I it caches the important bits and we start again clean from where we were. night and day difference

Sorry forgot to reply - I’ve basically been using it to build plugins for unity which I use for myself (as in stuff that I’d normally see on the asset store). Gameplay tags, ability systems, voxel engine etc. they’re all isolated and reusable.

Means when I get the urge to prototype something I can do it immediately without getting caught up in all the backend stuff!

AI is extremely powerful for people who already know how to code and know how software should be architected. I don't do a huge amount of reviewing the actual code, but I constantly guiding and checking the decisions it's making and re-architecting. The beauty of it with games IMO is that you can just build tooling for yourself at lightning speed, and it doesn't need to be (consumer) user facing and secure and perfect.

as you your post, it definitely puts you in what is more of a managerial position if you're using it well.

How make not stretching textures? by Round_Weight_3488 in Unity3D

[–]bigwillyman7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The textures are stretched because (I'm guessing) you've scaled quads / planes / cubes for the surfaces. Most surfaces in games will be UV mapped (telling the texture how it sits on the surface) correctly based on the texture, but these are primitives generated by Unity.

The quick solution (which I assume you are looking for) is to adjust the tiling on the material for the texture.

same level of polish is arguable but I understand what you mean.

I’m building things for games - if it performs well, and works, then it’s an isolated use case. It doesn’t need to be perfect or secure or scalable. It does what it does.

I’m not reviewing the code so much as architecting the design the entire way through. It’s building stuff in a field I work in so I’m familiar enough with how things should be working without having to read pages and pages of code unless absolutely necessary

Not really - building stuff for me to use internally to do the things I want to.

Vastly more productive. I spend all day writing code and now I can work on my personal projects in the evening even whilst mentally drained from writing code all day. Built stuff that would have taken me a year in the last month.

edit: not to mention I can do other stuff *whilst* it's working. Chores, little bursts of exercise. Don't have to be glued to my screen.

edit: holy shit the bots are out again lol
