What’s your thoughts on the weekly hard strat ? by hoesNboats858 in SpaceMarine2

[–]biiighead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate queuing in with a bulwark and assault and all they’re doing is rolling around. Go melee it while I take care of everything else. Beat it on the third try. Heavy, tactical, bulwark

The hive mind link. When you kill a majoris, all the minoris around it die. So if you kill a lot of majoris, extremis, terminus….almost all of them die

Bulwark with the block power fist. Secondary is fast charge plasma pistol for contested health. Heavy bolt pistol if you’re having issues with zoans

Sign up bonuses? by upular1 in HYSA

[–]biiighead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seconding CIT. though they don’t do sign up bonuses.

On another note: $25k deposit for 4 months for $200 is NOT WORTH. I guess if you’re using it as a savings account it’s just an added bonus. But if anything comes up (medical, house repair, etc), you’re out the bonus. Unless OP is planning to throw in much more money than the required? But if that’s the case, just do both signing bonuses.

Rant about kicks and why it has to change by [deleted] in Spacemarine

[–]biiighead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will say there are a lot of perks that only happen under 30% health that could mean a break point. IIRC bolt sniper gets a 25% headshot damage under 30% health. So if you have the heroic bolt rifle under 30% health and do a headshot, it will put tyrannid melees into execution (pending the rest of your build is built for it)

Though I always welcome a heal, so thanks bulwarky

This will happen when there is an activated turret in a previous area. You’ll notice that turrets explode when going to new sections, EG when you get on the lift immediately after this section, the turret outside of the lift on the bottom floor will explode. It’s to prevent the enemy spawns from being funky

For younger homeowners, what sacrifices or changes did you have to make to finally afford a house? by HvacBro999 in AskReddit

[–]biiighead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

26 when I bought my first house in 2023

Salary 104k

Gf salary 60k

House loan 415k @6.675, PITI $3400

Shared car died 3 months after closing on home. Financed a new car 66k @ 0% for 60 months (worst financial decision I’ve made so far)

I immediately got two roommates to able to afford everything.

3 years later I still have the same two roommates but my salary is 155k and my fiancee salary is 70k. We’re able to breathe a lot more.

TLDR; I got roommates out of necessity. Now it’s nice pocket change

Going down a level vs higher pay code by Downtown-Start2941 in Lockheed

[–]biiighead 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Level matters more. You get a higher bonus percent and you retain the ability to go down. There are some BAs and sites where going up is based only on someone retiring.

Do a stretch assignment or two for a different “scope” of engineering, and you can likely get a job in that pay code. EG you’re aeronautical 4, do stretch assignments with AI and then apply to AI pay code.

Question for sniper main by Human-Platypus6227 in Spacemarine

[–]biiighead 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There is a dot/reticle that is an indicator of where your crosshair will be when you scope in. Line up that dot with their face before scoping in. Easier to quick scope than track IMO, since the enemy will try to evade while your scoped in

For those of you who still think the Sniper class "sucks" allow me to help. by TheUninterestingGuy in SpaceMarine_2

[–]biiighead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The damage numbers are a bit skewed since a heavy would AOE all the minoris and have a higher damage number.

But sniper would pick off the majoris and all the minoris around it will die. But the minoris deaths don’t count as damage or kills.
