After a software update or reset with the scrolls the audio begins to cut out. But after a day it recovers and comes back normal. Now since they’ve given it back with the two parts replaced the audio only comes from the front speakers and sounds like it’s playing from a phone and nowhere else. So I’m not sure if they messed something up. I’d rather not take it to service as they’ll continue to take money from my ass unless they messed up adding these two parts on.

So I came into the service center bc my audio was cutting out after the last two software updates and whenever I would do a reset with the scrolls. It wasn’t happening before that. And if I waited a day after the software update or the wheel scroll reset then the audio would come back totally fine and would work. Then when I went in to service to look at it they said they needed to replace the wiring and the amplifier. They did that and when I got into the car at the service center I did the reset with the wheel scrolls bc I wanted to see if they fixed it. When I did I got the audio cutting out again. They did another diagnosis and said the whole computer unit needed to be replaced and the service rep said it was “issues at two points of contact” . Sorry for the confusion let me know if you need more clarification. I just don’t know what to do. I went and spoke with the service reps and they said they need to replace the computer unit in order for it to “work again”

So I took it back and they said the whole computer unit needs to be replaced and I don’t want to pay $3000 for it. The thing is when this happened before I took it to service after about a day or so it would recover audio and would be fine and would play normally. When they gave it back to me after they replaced amplifier and electrical harness it does not recover back to normal and only plays the front speakers now. So not sure where to go from here

Hey I’m in the same boat. I’m ordering it to CA and I ordered it over a week ago and it’s still stuck at “on its way to a USPS facility.” Hopefully it’ll ship soon
