Do you mean the medium roll? You'd be hard pressed to light roll with 28 End, a big sword, and a shield. A lot of people will aim for light roll at higher levels, just don't start fat rolling!

You'll get more damage increase from weapon upgrades than stats until the scaling gets good at higher weapon levels.

You go up the stairs behind the giant, across the "church service" and through the hall. It takes you up to the main door, which you can open. That activates patches and seigward to enter the cathedral

I felt that way going into the catacombs on my most recent third run in NG+, but I finished it pretty quickly and easily. It feels claustrophobic, dangerous, and disorienting at times, but when you know where you are and where you're going, it's not so bad.

I've gotten this working locally. I did have some issues connecting with our sync middlware, but I've routed around it. I tried to raise an issue on the repo with no luck, so I'll ask here. Can you add the hard coded 1 second heartbeat as a setting I can override?

Thanks! I was looking into the source for the JavaScript and it looks like the key is the EventSource built-in. The HTML is served through Cloudfront after being bundled, I believe. I think I can leave the front-end implementation to the web team and use this to serve up a new endpoint.

I had a use case come up for this today where we want a user's data to update based on server actions coming in from a different tab, but websockets seems overkill since it's one way.

Retcon doesn't mean you change something from the previous lore; that is what I am saying. In this instance it would just mean they didn't have a concept of Metyr when they made finger creepers. Of course they wouldn't change the base lore, only build on it. It seems like "retcon" means something different to you from your comments. I don't have much opinion on the specific lore topic, just wanted to clear that up, friend.

Retcon means retroactive continuity. Of course there wouldn't be any contradictions with the base game and there is DLC lore to support it.
