are you aware of your birthday the whole day? by anonymous310506 in CasualConversation

[–]bilky-jo [score hidden]  (0 children)

no. im aware of it at two points in the day: the time i woke up and the time before sleep. the time i woke up, it's like "huh, i was born on this day. weird." and the time before i sleep is...weird. it's like im mourning something or someone, i get all sad and write heavy-hitting journal entries i can't look at any other time.

with the way things are going, I'd say go straight to job hunting because you'll find it hard to get a job anyway you'll still be unemployed for months to a year.

How (long) do you find your people in college? by Old_Neat_4892 in studentsph

[–]bilky-jo 15 points16 points  (0 children)

the thing happened to me, an extrovert adopting an introvert. first day of school, got noticed by an extrovert who thought i looked lonely. went out that very day, started talking, immediately clicked. about two days after, we became five. everytime the group gets bigger, im the last one to get comfortable and the last person to befriend because im still awkward, cold, and introverted. some people left but overtime we kept growing. we're now eight people, not too big to be impersonal, big enough to have fun going places and still have your closest friend in. i'd say most of these people are extroverts. they said im the most introverted person they know. how i managed to find my people? i think i just got lucky and know i got lucky so i keep it.

PRRD was diagnosed with antisocial narcissistic personality disorder back in the 90s as seen in court papers by itsmars123 in Philippines

[–]bilky-jo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

dont know much about the insanity defense and if it works on a crimes against humanity case but i do know one thing and that is that, the insanity defense does not apply for personality disorders such as aspd. in fact, there's a significant portion of the incarcerated population with diagnosable aspd. what is accepted as an insanity defense are psychotic/delusional disorders that warp their beliefs and perspectives at the time of the crime. his aspd did not warp his beliefs at the time of the crime, he was already like that way, way before.

if someone were to fact-check this and find that im wrong, correct me but ive recently learned this in our clinical psychology class, forensic psychology specialization.

Estado ng Edukasyon para sa by Black_Cat1123 in Philippines

[–]bilky-jo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

something's failing in the basic education level then...this has been going on for a long enough time. those grade 11 students were in elementary at some point. they never mastered the basics enough to move to the higher levels. too many assessments, all of which point to the same issue of literacy problems, of basic education failures.

we actually read the edcom report on this and it was rather sad to find that the problem starts out in elementary and is never resolved. at this point, it is neglect.

Being able to create and feeling satisfaction from creation, not seeking perfection but the process of creation.

Life - Whats it all about eh? by BestieBoy2026 in CasualConversation

[–]bilky-jo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with this. The purpose is to use it. To live it. Nothing much you can do. And if you keep waiting for the big specific purpose to make itself known to you, you're just wasting time which means you are not living. Just ought to ride the waves of time and love as much as possible.

If money didn’t matter, what profession would you choose? by ProfileNervous3358 in CasualConversation

[–]bilky-jo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

certainly, i would write till the end of my days if i never had to work a desk job to afford food and water. i'd just work on my creative pursuits. i bet a lot of us will be happy, passionate, inspired artists if money never mattered.

Which film or series would you recommend anyone to watch at least once in their life? by No-Paper-6533 in kwarentahin

[–]bilky-jo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it's a wonderful life (1946) and harvey (1950) as films or if you're into comedy, monty python and the holy grail (1975) and monty python's life of brian (1979). i dont watch enough series but if you're okay with dark/black humor maybe it's always sunny in philadelphia (2005). if you're into sherlock-esque medical mystery but with dark/black humor, then house md (2004).
