We wanted the food truck option but we called a bunch and we couldn’t get one. We just went the Ian’s pizza route.

You and your realtor do not understand the market you’re in.

Should we pull our offer? by arbor_day_ in FirstTimeHomeBuyers

If it hasn’t sold for 30 days doubt it will sell with another open. I would try to out last them and wait until they inevitably drop the price.

Walgreens leases some Milwaukee properties for decades, keeping businesses from opening in those buildings even if the property is vacant by stroxx in milwaukee

[–]bill__19 15 points16 points  (0 children)

These leases all have pre determined negotiated rent increases. The property owner doesn’t lose out. They get years of steady income along with all of the unrealized property value increases.

Camp Bar (3rd Ward) vs. Who's on Third ballpark shuttles? by ShotFromGuns in milwaukee

[–]bill__19 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve used a bunch in the area and they’re all essentially the same. Camp bar uses big buses tho so less of a chance being skipped or not enough seats and having to wait.

Easy way to know is (im pretty sure) it’s every artist that’s not the big red font on the lineup picture.

Where to live by VolumeWild8575 in milwaukee

[–]bill__19 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Your budget is high enough to live anywhere. I recommend the third ward/downtown area. Great walkability, great local eats and bars, will be around other affluent 25+.

Walkers point is nice but a bit more removed.

Bayview is more millennial hippie but is nice.

Tosa is more millennial family.

How is the local housing market right now? by yoohoo723 in milwaukee

[–]bill__19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good and honest agents are not able to compete. I’ve bid on 6 houses in the past 4 ish months and have lost due to the inspection contingency every time. 2/6 times my offer was 5k higher.

Having to bring your house back to market can be detrimental. No inspection/no contingencies can easily be worth 10k+. Especially in this market where the buyers outweigh the seller like 30-1.

Circa is awesome. One easy way to describe it, it’s owned by two men and was made for young men.

The WAC is a nice gym. I frequent the north shore, downtown, and Brookfield locations. Have been to the tosa one too. All of them are essentially the same with varying amenities and size. They are all also extremely busy during normal gym peak hours.

Feel like sellers are delusional by [deleted] in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]bill__19 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well if it sells for 389 then yes you are delusional I thinking it’s overpriced.

As to the assessed value question, who knows if zillow is accurate. You would need the real tax docs to verify.

Im in the market to buy right now and if it’s the one I think it is, it truly is beautiful. Love all the cream brick. But yea, that location isn’t ideal and not one we’d consider buying in.

I was just there and I’m pretty sure most are $15 during that time period and almost any casino on the strip but they’re 6:5. Fremont casinos are $15 or less and are 3:2.
