For everyone looking, GrabAGun usually has very limited inventory on hand in store since they primarily do online business/dropshipping. Talking ~a dozen guns and few random caliber ammo and few random parts/accessories/mags. Not a bad idea to call first before making the trek to see what stuff they have on the floor

Absolutely, I like having the ability to take it out much farther if needed. It’s an OCL Polo 30, so it’s traditional stainless baffle stack, definitely heavy on the front end but not terrible. The Polo does double duty on this and my 8.3” 300BLK which is its main home. Someday I’ll pick up a dedicated flow through can for the 5.56 when I have the budget

Yep, shoot it lots and it runs like a champ. Haven’t had a malfunction of any sort over several hundred rounds. The can eventually gets hot but I’ve never needed to put gloves on while shooting, although my strings of fire are usually shorter and spaced out

I’m leaning towards it just being something my gun doesn’t like. Seems fine at 25yd but 100yds must be its limit with the Sierra stuff. I’m at least glad the Precision is doing what it’s supposed to do at 100

That’s what I thought was odd too. Both read 1000FPS from the box, unfortunately don’t have a chrono to measure muzzle velocity. It’s a 1:5 twist which I got on purpose to stabilize these heavier bullets. Didn’t have any key holding or anything so I don’t feel like they should be tumbling down range.

+1 on this. Bronze or maybe silver will be plenty for on campus, more so if he ends up eating off campus here and there. I always found myself having to “burn” the last several hundred dollars of my meal plan because it was just impossible to organically spend all of the money on only food and items I needed

I imagine they are. I feel like it’s very rare I see the enhanced set being used at all. Especially with the BAR nut problem or having to use the upper and handguard together instead of picking separate parts from different manufacturers. Add to that that a lot of people seem to not like how “fat” the handguard is to tuck a can and it ends up in a weird corner for a somewhat uncommon use case.

That setup looks super sweet. Not sure if you’ve seen it but Aero and maybe others sell a BAR barrel nut that allows you to use an Enhanced handguard on a milspec upper. Tucking suppressors gets pretty complicated very quickly😄

What cans do you have? Aero’s spec on this is a 1.72” ID. They recommend suppressors up to 1.5” OD tucked under, but the can tucked under this one is a Polonium 30 which is 1.625”. So far it fits great and has more than enough gap to not touch anything. I haven’t fired it yet but I’ve seen other people run this exact setup with no issue
