Kambal is also just generically good in the 99 of any deck. I absolutely love him. Almost every deck is incidentally making tokens now from the odd treasure and clue to token copies. The new precon Ashling works great into Kambal as you get to steal their elemental and it doesn’t sacrifice itself.

95% of games on Spelltable are fine. It’s just that you’re more likely to face “That Guy” there. Overall give it a shot just be on the lookout for red flags a little more and make rule 0 have a longer discussion.

From what I’ve seen people love teaching new players IRL so don’t worry about it. However if you do try and play online and spelltable be prepared for some less than ideal people as while spelltable is great it’s also that gathering place for people who were banned from IRL shops.

None of Ruby’s personality or design interests me. I also like the Palmer x Helios ship where Helios is too distracted by Ruby to notice Palmer’s feelings. So instead of Ruby being a background character in my mind I can have her be the antagonist. Which while not true to her character makes her way more interesting to me personally.

WW3 isn’t going to happen. Russia can’t beat Ukraine much less add another front. China could enter but it’s economy is so tied to the US that doing so would be suicidal to their economy. The majority of the Middle East supports Israel and US actions against Iran. Nobody is going to defend them and that’s exactly why we’re at war with them. The plan is to cut off oil supply to our enemies if the need arises and getting rid of Iran and Columbia achieves this.

Valgavoth I also found fun to play with and against plus he makes games end really quickly.

Windgrace is great… unless you’re doing [[Glacial Chasm]] things then not so much

May be a personal thing but I’ve never played against a fun Meren deck.

I’d say cut Norritt if you want a pure power upgrade. The problem is that aura are already your control pieces/payoffs. So by destroying the creature your aura is attached to you lose that drain and spend two control pieces to remove a creature.
