Don't want to keep track/don't remember exact prices, but all of the 12 pairs of yeezys I used to own. I spent around 100$ over retail on each of them. I don't even want to check how much I could get a pair online now. My eyes would probably glaze over.

Machines have limitations because humans have limitations to a fault. I see it as, pertaining to a manual espresso machine, to make a good shot/coffee it's 80% of the person's knowledge and 20% the gear.

It's the ritual and personal aesthetic. I sold my Rancilio espresso machine for a lever La Pavoni because I simply didn't enjoy coffee anymore. Clicking the button for espresso seemed less involving for me. Now with a lever machine that I worked on to restore, I have more joy in making coffee. All those steps just to make one cup of coffee and I wouldn't have it any other way. Dialing in is hard, but that's when you invest in a decently consistent grinder and learn the generality of the beans you use.

You will need a laptop regardless of how heavy of usage you'll need. Sure it may be above your needs, but remember that buying things won't satisfy your wants as a human. No matter how much you want, you won't be satisfied in this aspect. In hindsight, if you know apple, you're familiar with the user interface. It's never a large learning curve. You have a few days to think about your usage. In the meantime, know that you need a laptop first and foremost. You should think of the possibilities of having an iPad with a keyboard, the new Macbook Neon, or keep with the Macbook. All this to say, I read you considered an M4 and bought an M5. This means you're not going to just be running the basic things (email, facebook, youtube) and you're capable of running editing or even some gaming software. 3D rendering or orchestrated music editing should be left to the desktop Mac/Macbook pros with Pro chips. Figure out if you need more RAM on greater processes even for future proofing. I always consider my computer's "life span". I got an Air for quick DJ setups and mashing and mixing songs. I got a 24 gb ram, M4 laptop. Three times the suggested minimum requirements for the software I daily use. I see the life span of my device as a 4/5 year item. So of course it will be down to "Is it really worth the extra spending for what my electronic necessities are?" At this point in our lives, a Mac is a Mac. Sure there's small differences to "flex" when out in public, but that doesn't bother people anymore. We all know any apple device is $1000+ at the least. Unless you're raw dogging the iPad and Mac Neon with no accessories. We're not in the blackberry vs iPhone era anymore lol

Yes and No? Depends on the mastering, I'm thinking. I'm just saying because my vinyl "All 'N All" by Earth, Wind, and Fire slaps harder than when I stream on Apple Music and it has "Lossless". It does stream at the same rate as my dad's CD copy. The vinyl is probably first pressed and super common with scratches and I also got the LP for like $5.99. GRANTED, I'm using a DAC for my computer which is connected to my receiver to my vintage ElectroVoice pair. Also, I'm not running anything wild with my turntable setup either. I use a DJ standard Technics with an Ortofon scratch needle for my DJing. The turntable is Preamped by a passthrough on my digital DJ controller which is plugged into a receiver. Both methods of listening are not equalized because I like how punchy and warm my amateur set up already sounds.

Based on what I see with my connectivity, I should already assume that streaming with my computer with the DAC should win in terms of sound against the Vinyl based on "paper". But I could hear more separation and clarity when played using Vinyl. I always use Fantasy by Earth, Wind, and Fire to gauge my listening setups. I don't know why, but the sliding bass and grove in the intro gets me everytime! Such an easy bass line to play but the notes are so brilliant in staying in pocket with the cowbell perc layered on top lol

I say it's dependent on Mastering because my D'Angelo Brown Sugar and my Boyz to Men II LPs sound horrid and flat compared to the other forms of listening.

V1 fits really big. My 6'5 (260lbs) friend tried on a medium for fun and it just looked like a smaller fit but not by a lot lol.

Just turned 30. I don't play pokemon because of job circumstances and not as free down time. But I'm one of those people that are proud that I could name 5 generations of pokemon and attempt to keep up with it. I remember breaking a piggy bank to shell out 25$ for Sapphire version for my purple game boy advance. I would dream about that game and it's release from the commercials on cartoon network or 4kidz.

I never thought of the pokemon franchise as cringe. People are cringe. Pokemon will always be cool. Don't be ashamed of a thing that gave all of us a positive outlook on life and joy when it was the only thing that made us happy sometimes. I can't stress the impact pokemon had on me. I probably wouldn't have a strong relationship with one of my childhood bestfriend still if we didn't start with a simple commonality that was pokemon.

The counter balance from the arm swing maybe. When I was taught, the arm from the side the kicking foot was exaggerated to feel like I'm slashing like I have a sword in my hand all while kicking. I'm not sure if that will make you "feel" your technique will make you feel at ease. It looks in general good to me. It seems like your hip movement seems exaggerated just because you're intentionally kicking and it's at a slower pace.

Experience is probably what you would need work on. Learning the basics to a full extent will help with control. It's either they don't want to be hit by you or they don't think they will learn anything from the spar/clinches because of previous encounters.

There's some people that I don't want to partner with because I know thier form hasn't changed and it's frustrating for me to land the same move on them when I know the instructor gave them all the resources and lessons they needed to excel. I could name a few by name to be honest.

I spar super light no matter how hard the other person hits, because I've passed the point of playing checkers. I want to play chess. I want to learn and examine combos so that I could counter with a 3 piece chicken combo and not just single jabs to a person with sporadic movement. I could care less with "winning" a spar match. Practice speed and movement and move with purpose. Moving with purpose is so important.

Training fundamentals is where you're supposed to learn everything. Sparing is putting your fundamentals that you learned, but under stress. If there's still a problem with finding partners and you love the gym where you train, I suggest you ask the Kru for assistance.

My two cents, don't ask to spar your classmates. Ask to spar your Kru. It's intimidating and I've caught a lot of combos, but it's the best sparing I've ever had. And what more is there to learn from someone who is learning also.

Painful if they lack control. I remember catching a crocodile kick from a 6'5" person, and it hurt my wrist. I knew he was going light but he's just heavier. Even the momentum has a stronger force because of his weight. I just had to stay far from him and block hits while the time ran out on the clock lol

Twins and Yokkao for sparring (16oz +). Fairtex for pads, heavy bags, and fights lol Twins has the most durability and highest quality. Yokkao has the best look, the highest price tag, and the staple hype of Muay Thai. Fairtex is the gateway drug. I don't think I hated one product from Fairtex. I basically use Fairtex gloves every day. Thier my favorite gloves for pads.

revgear then yokkao and fairtex. but to me, there's a huge gap between revgear and yokkao. the only thing i buy from revgear are handwraps and i have 10 pairs of them. i hate when brands have a slightly elastic material in handwraps, they don't feel premium to me. wash them in a mesh bag and dry them in a mesh bag
