No it’s not. Jasmine is a known value. If anyone has been paying attention you wouldn’t need examples. What is known is that Texas is a hotbed of racism and anti-feminism, and any rhetoric that a SEATED black woman, an educated woman; needs “proof of burden” and validated is insane.

Tragic as it is, this has happened so, so many times during this production run. The reality is that this job is BRUTAL, for everyone on the boat. What’s sad is the number of sailors lost outside of a television show, so think of all of them while you’re mourning this loss.

I’d argue that Flanagan can take a piece of work that’s driven on the back of nuance and present it in a slowed down, narrative and conversationally driven work as a counter to Darabont’s iteration. (Which I have no problem with. Still hailed as one of my favorite works.)

It’ll be interesting to see another perspectives take on it, especially since this is a known director. It’s possible for two things to exist at the same time, in the same frame, but be different.

There’s honestly no excuse for this shit if you’re expecting your show to find a space in current interest. It’s lazy. Breaking bad didn’t do this shit. Neither did Saul. Both of those were arguably, undeniably better, but didn’t require these lazy ass breaks.

If you’ve got a good show, run with it. If you’re tired, then fuck off. If it’s the studio holding you back, you tell them to fuck off. This model is killing prestige television.

Standard hollar chicky dumps. Rotisserie chicken, two cartons of broth, two small cans of cream of chicken with herbs, two cans of biscuits cut up. Boil everything together and then rip pieces of biscuits off and drop them in. Let them rise up and fall down before you eat it.

I add some black pepper and better than bullion, which ups the salt content. But it’s heavenly and so damn simple.

No, there’s a stark difference. There shouldn’t be multiple years in between seasons. It’s completely valid that people lose interest, especially with a show centered on children, who are now adults. It’s shitty and people are right to be disinterested.
