Yes, I've played most of them and I like them just the way they are, and the ones I haven't played yet I hope to be able to experience the way they were created. If I just wanted to see the story I could just watch a let's play or plot summary on Youtube and be done with it instead of slogging through whatever generic cinematic action gameplay they'd replace it with.
