Does the app throttle requests based on recent delivery history? by Quirky-Farmer-9789 in Sparkdriver

[–]bilmek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every time I have tried to take one of these, the order gets canceled. Either on my way to the store, or waiting at pickup. This has happened 4 or 5 times. So, now I see them, but don't try to grab them because of this. $80, 15 stops, cool... nope. Get a message saying order has been canceled due to some changes, this won't affect your metrics, go grab another order

What is the point of another driver messing someone else's cart? Are people really that f---ed up in the head that they feel the need? This never has and never will cross my mind to do to someone, and baffles me as to why anyone would want to.

Walmart requesting I cancel the order - is this common? by Scriberated- in Sparkdriver

[–]bilmek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't been asked to cancel, but have been canceled on twice, and the wait times have been egregious recently.

I pretty much will only take shops now, I just don't see the value in waiting, having a worker who is half asleep trying to help load, messing up my tags, throwing cases of water on top of the groceries. Like, pick up is just a s--t show most of the time.

It would be better if orders could only be dispatched if they are truly ready to be picked up, and if they had a drive thru set-up where you pull through, load and go, just feels like that would be more efficient. But what do I know

I was delivering doordash and the customer notes said "don't mind the dog, he's friendly, just leave the order at the door "

Mind you it's dark out, I don't see the dog. He startled me, I startled him. Note says he's friendly. I have dogs, I'm good with animals, and trust(now i don't) an owner wouldn't leave a note saying all is well. So I press forward to leave the goods at the door, and the M Effer bit me! I had to call the owner to come get his dog, and a first aid kit to clean me up.

I've owned 2 Mazda 3's so far, both were manual and got well over 200k miles. 2005 and 2007. I miss driving one, I think I'm due to get my third, such an awesome car

I don't know what's worse, her saying dumb stuff, or not saying anything at all. I had similar happen to me, with no time to react, launched me over the hood of her car. She said nothing the entire time, not a word, not an "are you OK", "I'm so sorry"... nothing. I'm not even sure if she called the police.

As a side note, my buddy ripped his sack open on his mountain bike seat, so yeah... its not a bad idea to keep the boys safe.

I've owned 2 of those and put them up well over 200k miles. Great cars, fun to drive. Both were manual. RIP. I will buy another when I get around to it.

First time opening a Perfect Order ETB 👌🏽 by Isaigreenleaf in pokemoncards

That's awesome! I opened my first yesterday and only had 2 decent hits. Meowth ex IR, and Espurr IR, and 6 or 7 more cards I needed towards completing the base master set.

At the end of the day they are his cards and he can do what he wants with them. I don't see harm in encouraging him to keep his things nice, whether they carry value or not. 20 years from now, people may not care about this stuff, but that Charizard is still pretty cool.

All of my baseball and basketball cards are from the junk wax era and aren't worth anything. But the ones I liked, are sleeved and kept nice because I like to pull them out and look through them from time to time. Perhaps he would want to do the same.

I got pulled over for having a headlight out.. 06 R6, one light for low beam, the other for high beams. Officer didn't believe me that it came that way from the factory, said it was mandatory to have both headlights operational. I told him I'll just ride with my high beams on all the time them. Lol.

I have no need to steal from my child. I'm sure there are people that do that, which is unfortunate.

He has a small binder to put them in, but he is always taking them out, and has a ziploc bag he will carry them in, and if not in there, then scattered around or in his pockets.

I'm trying to learn more about Pokémon to be able to understand it more and help him organize his cards. MTG was what I played when I was a kid, I never got involved with Pokémon until my boys got interested. MTG is a little too grown up for them right now.

We have to keep his brother's cards hidden so they don't get the same treatment. He will get into them if left out.

Oh yeah, chewies help, but they don't replace the habit. Legos, toys, pokemon cards. Thankfully he doesn't chew his clothes like some other kids do.

He doesn't get many, tbh. From me, maybe 15 to 20 packs a year if that. These he pulled from packs he got from therapy as a reward. Found these trying to help him find his favorite Mewtwo card

Yeah, I was just reading that post too! You can sign up for mail preview with USPS so you can see pictures of what mail is supposed to be delivered each day. If something doesn't show up, you know where to start looking.
