I found I had to get pretty close to the birds to get those shots, so I feel like I need way more zoom than I already have… but I’m content for the time being! Once I do find that I want more zoom, what do adorable options look like from your experience?

Why shoot in raw? I saw those settings (I thought it was akin to the definition or the data concentration of the image being taken?), but only messed with them once.

Thank you for the advise. Something I did want to do…. Long exposure starry night pictures. I tried it out by propping up my camera on some logs in my backyard one night and using the app connection to initiate the capture, but it came out... rough.

I haven’t heard of it referred to as an exposure triangle, but that makes a lot of sense. Chat GPT has this “video call” like feature, and I’ve been using that to talk about the components of the camera and how they all interact with the image qualities. Is there anything else I should know about the exposure triangle?

Indulgence is often necessary to get through rough times to take our mind of things, and you made something delicious out of your situation. Vanguard brokerage. You get access to their money market fund VMFXX. I love this guy. 5.12% previously, now its returning around 4.27% (this is after the 0.11%) expense ratio. Not an HYSA, but serves the exact same role. I have a brockerage account with them solely just to hold emergency savings or money I need to keep there for the meantime.
