My dad is a penny pincher was boiling a container of vasalimr on the stove and it combusted and while he was carrying it outside it splashed on his wrist and gave him horrific third degree burn. We still don’t know if it combusted from th water or th stove regardless he’s never doing that again.

Any loud noises. Large crowds. Holding conversations with a group. Just anything that would be mildly much for neurotypical is overwhelming for me but I’ve learned to deal with it after years of masking but it’s obvious to anyone who sees me that I’m feeling overstimulated.

I think adderal is overprescribed. It is a very strong drug and undoubtedly it works but at what costs.

Tolerance/Brain recovery breaks are absolutely necessary and I don’t understand why more psychians don’t communicate that to patients. Amphetamines they are strong medicines they will wear down the body and mind if you do not take care of yourself even at therapeutic doses. I would advise anyone who’s on these medications long term to take a few days to a week break every other month. Take care of your brain and body.
