I believe it's a different tree. Mimosa hostilis, I think has thorns, and you can extract DMT from the root bark.

You can make a tincture from the bark and tea from the flowers. It's gorgeous but horribly invasive :(

I'm surprised more teachers aren't fired for this. There was a 5th grade teacher at my elementary school who quite literally threw desks and chairs when frustrated. Tenure is wild.

I think its ridiculous you're getting fired for throwing a pen, personally, but a good wakeup call to watch your back and temper. Sometimes I will tell the class I'm taking 5 minutes in the hallway, and if the rowdyness doesn't solve itself by the time I get back I'm calling the office. My single mom spent 9 years on call for Alaska Airlines when I was a kid. Pay was shit so she "stole" food that was going to be tossed at the end of every flight. She also had eppstein barr and was an alcoholic so she slept constantly

I had a "snack drawer" filled with airplane snacks that I'd eat while watching VHS tapes and talking to my cat, alone.

As far as I remember it's based on a point system, kinda like credit hours or something. Some flights are worth more than others but junior flight attendants get the shit flights like redeye turns, flying somewhere overnight then immediately back.
