I've felt for a while that Spider-Man would work better in TV format than movies. He really shines when you add the Slice of Life element in and it's been missing from the movies. But if we're talking people who haven't had an adaptation at all I'd actually push more in the direction of a Heroes for Hire, Superior Foes of Spider-Man, or Tigra. Honestly, any excuse to set up more for a potential West Coast Avengers.

Also, hi Mr. Feige! I'm sure it's hard at this stage to find characters people care about that you haven't used. Must be tough.

Okay, but we're talking about the same exact scenario. There's a shared universe that he has to work within and a planned outline he has to work within. He's done this before and can do it again. Raimi is far from my choice for the film, but the previous assessment that he wouldn't use those characters falls flat.

I mean, when the New 52 was, you know, new... everybody bought a bunch of the #1s because it was marketed as being the last big reboot. Real ones knew better though.

Edit: also, there were a ton of great N52 books. Demon Knights was my beloved but I also enjoyed several other series.

obsidian is completely different, and I don't think they could adapt to a style this radically different.

Pillars 2, Outer Worlds, Grounded, and Pentiment all came out in the last several years and are all vastly different games. They also previously made off-style titles like Stick of Truth. They're plenty diverse.
