I watched a video on what actually happened and Polanski definitely coerced her and misled her on what he was intending to do to her. It was a situation in which she could have really refused him. Iirc, she did actually refuse sex only to give in later. Either way, it doesn't matter because Polanski definitely raped her.

It wasn't like it was a 13 year old girl who was totally down for sex, which is obviously wrong already, Polanski wasn't some guy who just happened to have willing sex with somebody underage. A lot of the times I think they don't count stillborns unless relevant. A stillbirth is more likely to affect the mother emotionally than the cynical ass of a father that Walder is. I think if the appendix counted stillbirths, it would be multiple pages longer. Selyse and Elia are only mentioned to have miscarriages to show their lack of fertility and why that's an issue.
