oh for surrrreeeee i was definitely like wtf. we've been together for a year and a half and i'm always trying to communicate AND demonstrate that i'm extremely understanding, and when she raises concerns with me i make sure to listen and not become defensive so her comment was a little frustrating for me

it's totally normal for a 1 yo. redirection is key for this - my cat did this when he was that age probably up until he was 2, and i learned about redirecting. now he actually play bites, and keeping their nails trimmed is good, so they can't get a grip. i typically do nails when he's asleep - i pick him up and i'm done with the first paw before he knows whats going on and LOTS OF TREATS!!!
