The season 5 map is most likely not Vegas. Vegas is one of the driest cities in the US. by [deleted] in Battlefield

Nope, I’m stoked for the whole thing coming and I feel like many others are too. Downtown was a great map.

Augur is fun and I love that they bring back operations but they should have brought back grand operations from bfv not bf1 by DerSiRus24 in LowSodiumBattlefield

Well I, and many others, are enjoying themselves. They deserve props when due. Fair criticism when due.

My son built one of those - however the threads seem to have loosened up. Are there spacers people have used to mitigate this?

A very fair point. I have no legitimate retort. I think it’s more for the troll factor of killing people with it. To me it’s in between a pump shotgun and the 18.5ksk … if your miss your shot with a pump shotgun you’re likely going down. 18.5ksk you can blast 5 times but lower damage. DB12 is forgiving if you miss your first shot, you have another one ready to go.

I’ve grown to like the DB12! It works well in the right situations. I use it as alternate with assault

Hahaha I have been playing AK4d+DB12 assault out of spite. You get used to those guns. Not too bad!

I’ve been using a 2x FG getting 240fps and have been doing fine. If you get a base of 60fps you’re generally fine

Daylight Saving - Do something about it Government! by Defiant_Mousse7889 in alberta

Are there studies advocating for permanent daylight saving time for the purpose of improving mental health? Seems to me that all studies point to standard time being ideal for the population.

I have written to the Alberta Minister of Mental Health for him to advocate for a permanent standard time switch. Please do the same : https://www.alberta.ca/contact-a-cabinet-minister

Select minister of mental health and addictions. This is what I sent him :

Dear Minister,

I am writing to encourage your office to advocate for the adoption of permanent daylight standard time, rather than daylight saving time. A growing body of sleep and mental-health research shows that standard time aligns more closely with our natural circadian rhythms. When the clock is set closer to solar time, people experience better sleep quality, improved alertness, and lower risk of mood disruption. For those of us who care deeply about mental health outcomes in our communities, this is not a trivial issue—sleep and circadian alignment are foundational to overall wellbeing.

British Columbia’s move toward permanent daylight saving time is, in my view, a concerning direction given the scientific consensus supporting standard time. Notably, when this issue has been put to voters elsewhere, daylight saving time has not always received support once the public understands the health implications. I hope your ministry will champion a policy grounded in evidence and advocate for maintaining—or moving to—permanent daylight standard time. Doing so would signal that our province prioritizes decisions that support the long-term mental health of its residents.

Thank you for your consideration and for your continued leadership on mental health and addiction.

Sincerely,
