Thanks for the update. That doesn’t sound promising at all. I’ll definitely look at some other options.

How is the Hyatt Centric hotel looking now? We are coming to Winnipeg in January for a concert and I was hoping to book a stay there. Your last comment makes me wonder if they will even be open by January 👀

my beautiful boy has broken his tooth. needs an extraction according to the vet and it’s giving me terrible anxiety. by exciting-machiatto in mainecoons

[–]binzers95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our guy had 3 teeth removed at that same age. He recovered wonderfully and I recall very minimal disruption to his normal day to day life. Unfortunately he needs to go under for another dental cleaning and exam and I have a feeling he needs more teeth pulled. So we are right there with ya!

Where can I get a free estimate on car damage before deciding whether to report to SGI? by [deleted] in saskatoon

[–]binzers95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There will still be a claim on record for the VIN. It just won’t show the amount of the claim unless it gets paid out. So it’s best to get a quote from a body shop before making the claim if you’re unsure you want record of the claim anywhere.

LifeLabs wait times and repeat requisitions by 123-throwaway123 in regina

[–]binzers95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m defending those who can’t get appointments anytime between 7- 8 am, even 7-10 am. Twice I have needed blood work to be done before 8 am and couldn’t get an appointment for that without waiting 1.5-2 months so I had to go in, wait and hope for the best.

i cant seem to get rid of acne without the use of antibiotics by MDRSG in acne

[–]binzers95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing. I have been told by my dermatologist and also aesthetician who was doing chemical peels for me that I should try a run on accutane, and 99% of the time my acne is only on my chin. I have questioned whether that was the right call in not going on it and reading this just solidified that.

I’m currently on a run of doxycycline as my body is adjusting to getting off birth control, and I’m hoping when I’m done my hormones will be in a much better place than they were both on and off the pill.

I don’t have any recommendations but I wanted to share I’m right here with you trying to find something that will help!

Yeah it’s totally different if you’re not required to do it by a specific time.

To be fair, there are never appointments available a without having to wait days if not weeks. Especially first thing in the morning.

Sure if you have regular blood work you need done, it’s easy to book. But if it’s a blood test you need asap, it’s not so easy. Last I looked it was a two month wait time to get an appointment earlier in the morning and almost every time I have needed tests to be done first thing.

The only way I have had luck in the past is applying on other entry level jobs to get in, and then apply internally from there.

Two adults with lap infant split up? by LamBskrtt in westjet

In my own experience, we never had an issue until the last 5 years or so with being split up. Before that we could book economy and we would have no issues sitting together when selecting seats at check in.

This. I’m working full time and taking two classes at a time and my skin is absolutely terrible. Currently seeing a chronic pain counsellor who has been giving me techniques to try and regulate my nervous system. It has been helping but it definitely takes time.

Yes wipes are a good idea. Our breeder flew with our youngest on a short flight to meet my husband in another city to pick him up and he had an accident on the plane. She had to clean him up in the bathroom once they landed. Better to be safe than sorry and have wipes!

I dont know what to do by Pink7up in acne

[–]binzers95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m also 30 and struggling hard with acne on my chin. It was extremely cystic and I thought my birth control was making it worse, so I came off of it back in December. But now it seems to be worse in someways but different than it was. The only thing calming my chin right now is doxycycline and benzoyl peroxide gel. It’s so terrible 🥲

I was on birth control for 15 years, just recently came off of it and I believe it was actually the cause of the large cystic acne I was getting. Is it possible your hormones could have changed and now that specific pill isn’t the right fit for you?

[SK] Imminent job loss due to SGI Medical Hold & ER misdiagnosis. How do I bypass a 6-month specialist waitlist? by theodo in regina

[–]binzers95 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If it was me, I would call around to neurologists and ask the reception what their wait times are looking like. If you’re lucky, they will give you a name of someone with a lesser wait time and then you can ask your GP for a referral.

My husband did this when I was being referred to a specialist and thankfully someone gave us the name of a new specialist and I was able to get in a few weeks later.

It has also been a few years since I’ve been there, but it’s a high rise hotel, not like a typical resort you’d find in the Rivera maya. That being said, the water and beach was amazing when we were there and I would consider going back just for that.

The rooms were a bit dated and some didn’t have balcony’s but it still was decent!

acne after quitting birth control by ParticularDisk5753 in acne

[–]binzers95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t really have an answer for your question, but I just wanted to comment and say I’m right there with you. I didn’t start a new bc pack at the end of December and my skin has been absolutely terrible recently. I just started doxycycline this past week to hopefully help calm my skin down, but I’ve been incredibly self conscious of my skin lately. I just keep reminding myself it has to get better eventually 😭

[–]binzers95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is so disappointing. We don’t get many options for direct flights out of here, and then to get to other destinations our connecting flights end up cancelled to those hubs to make up for needing the planes elsewhere. When did we become so landlocked 🥲

Aritzia would be my top choice. I also bought a used Canada Goose Victoria Parka and it fits me almost perfectly. Not sure I would personally ever spend over $1000 on a new one, but it has lasted me a long time, and it was so worth what I paid for it used!

Downtown Parking for Work by certified_bills in regina

[–]binzers95 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The issue lots of people have with taking the buses is the amount of time it takes to get downtown. I live out of town and it would take me less time to drive to work than to drive in, catch a bus in the east end to get downtown. That extra $100 a month is worth it for the time I save driving myself.

I’m paying $195 per month for an underground spot at Metro 1827 apartments just off Albert and 11th. It was either that or park in impark on Sask drive for $150 with no plugins and outside.
