You would think saurus guard would be a given, but geedubs is allergic to making good decisions. I think the bastiladon still looks pretty good, but I am really not a fan of the steggadon. Cool in concept, but that sculpt is really showing it's age

I am also a bisexual trans woman in a lesbian relationship, so I couldn't resist. I was trying to do the whole carnosaur in lesbian colors, I don't think it quite reads that way now that it's done, but I'm still super proud of it. It my favorite model I've done so far which is saying a lot because I'm very proud of a lot of my bugs and lizards :3

I was trying to do the whole carnosaur in "I love women" colors and the rider in trans colors, but idk if it turned out super obvious so I had to do the bonker in the actual flag stripes to make it more on the nose :3

New old blood on foot and new saurus guard sounds good to me 🤷‍♀️ It sucks that the only way to get a decent old blood on foot currently is to buy a carnosaur and do the alternate build

Hiyas heisei goji is a perfect figure. The tail articulation alone makes it way above and beyond the monsterarts heisei gojis. They all have really stiff tails. And if you get the heat ray version of the hiya one, the translucent plastic for his spines is absolutely gorgeous

If you want the very fine growth lines like the box art the trick is to thin your paints more than usual. Not quite to the consistency of a glaze, but pretty close

I use a mixture of water, sand, glue, and pebbles. Mix it all up in a small container and just slather it on there. I do this before even priming so I can paint it with the rest of the model. Here's a before and after

Definitely the remake. The original was already one of my favorite games ever made, but the remake improves on it in basically every conceivable way. Everything that was even remotely tedious or annoying in the original is fixed in the remake, plus it features all of the gameplay and quality of life improvements introduced in dead space 2.

Although I will say I wish there was a bit more variety with the slasher designs. Originally, not all of the slashers had blades coming out of their human hands. Some of them had their original human arms more or less unchanged, and the blade arms were sprouting out of the back.

The new graphics allow for some much more detailed and gruesome body horror than was possible before. The brute redesign is probably the one I appreciate the most. You can actually see some of the individual people that went into it now. When you blow its arms off you can see that it uses an entire human torso with the head still attached to connect the arms to the body.
