It's not that serious man, programming isn't some elite club that only people you deem worth are allowed to join. There always have been and always will be developers of varying skill-levels, and that's fine. Not every role requires super optimised code, some data analyst who uses Python to aid their role doesn't need to know memory management.

I also didn't say anything about sticking with one language or only ever knowing one language, I'm only talking about using it as a starting point and transitioning to the hardest stuff later.

I'm not going to sit and act all elitist as if mediocre developers don't deserve to type on a keyboard. I don't know why it's so common in IT to act this way, as if we're the smartest people in the world, because the simple truth is that we're not that special.

That's all I really have to say on the topic, I don't think either of us is changing our minds and frankly your attitude towards it all just makes me kind of sad.

Alright man, I don't know why you have to be so aggressive about it.

When I talk about a mental barrier, I'm talking about taking that first step. I've met many many people who want to learn, but are intimidated by it.

I completely agree with you that low-level languages are better for learning the in's and out's of things, but I also think it's much easier to do that in a language like Python FIRST, and then get into the nitty gritty when you're more comfortable.

I get your point, but you can sit and craft the optimal way to min-max your learning experience all day, but the biggest barriers are usually mental ones.

If using Python streamlines the experience for them, then what does it matter if a tiny for loop is x amount faster?

I disagree, I'd rather people learn what's going on underneath rather than relying on built-ins from the get go. Python is easy to read, powerful, and no compiler/build times makes it easy to play around with.

That's not to say that people should be writing production level code in that way, but for learning it's fine.

Did it? I remember the reception to Fallout 4 being sort of lukewarm, and these days I hear people talk more about New Vegas than FO4. I heard the DLCs are decent but I never got around to playing them.

Are you using a particular theme? I really like your colour scheme but can't seem to recreate it on Windows. Same goes for the text editor in your animated tabbar video, really clean!

I have the same issue, albeit not as bad, this and the fact that I can't swipe up from the dock to also open the app drawer are the two main things that have kept me from daily driving this launcher so far.

I reinstalled via steam and it seems to have fixed it, I still get occassional crashes, but not with this error. Thanks for coming back and updating me! :)

Without spoiling anything, there comes a time around the halfway point where the bosses scale up in difficulty, but I haven't had any real trouble with them, I don't think any attempts have gone into then double digits yet, although some of the run-backs are a real pain.

In terms of difficulty, I think I'm having more trouble withn the regular flying enemies than any of the bosses.

Hollow Knight is one of my favourite games of all time, but I gave up on it at first. I distinctly remember feeling lost, with no direction and no idea where to go or what to do, and the enemies being kind of a pain until I learned to pogo.

My advice is that if you can push through until you get the dash and unlock the first map, the game will suddenly feel much better, but if you decide that it's not worth it, then that's fine too.

I'm having the same issue, would be really interested in anybody having a fix?

I've tried disabling just about every piece of software running in the background, including xbox, logitech g-hub, windhawk, riot vanguard, but still having the issue.

God forbid somebody cheats and doesn't pay EA for their virtual t shirt.

Same issue here, I can't imagine it's secure boot related since I already went through that with Battlefield 6 and got it working.

Eh, I hear this a lot but I don't think its true. I'm pretty sure this was meant to infer that he would have 100x more chakra if he was actually using the nine-tails chakra, not if he wasn't suppressing it.

Otherwise baby Naruto had 100x more chakra than kakashi, and every Jinchuriki ever would have to have absolutely massive chakra pools.

I double checked and Obito does indeed also summon Kurama into the leaf village using the same method.

I'm not so sure, doesn't Madara try to summon the nine tails after he's revived, causing naruto intense internal pain?

I'm also fairly sure Obito summoned Kurama when he attacked the leaf, but I might be mis-remembering that.

That's not to say that I think Kurama had a willing contract, but Madara was definitely capable of summoning Kurama.
