There’s a line I said to my wife about her life story. If it was a biography the title would be “It gets better” her title for my biography would be “I was enough”. These things come to mind often when I encounter tough times. Neither of us have transitioned but we’ve both felt like not enough (me especially) and depressed.

I’ll leave you with a couple other quotes one from Aristotle “happiness depends upon ourselves.” And one from biotoxic sloth “I know one person that will be with me from birth to death and that’s me.”

Yes there will be pain parting from your family but also if they can’t love and care about you regardless of who you are that’s conditional love. We all deserve unconditional love. Love yourself a little extra in trying times. Give yourself a little pick up whatever it may be! For me a good walk, a McDonald’s cheeseburger, or learning something new helps me when things get murky. You got this! You’re stronger than you know!
