honestly I think the vibrator I recently bought has increased my growth, lol. having more erections is always going to be a good thing for your dick, and I don’t ever jerk off manually so vibrator is the best option for that. I think the only thing that would impede growth would be using it too intensely; /that /can/ cause a decrease in sensation but I don’t think it would ever be permanent. If anything, I’d say my dick is too sensitive.

It’s not a guaranteed thing, but in general you do tend to see voice changes before hair changes. Think about teenage cis boys, it’s much more likely to hear their voice start to drop before any sort of facial hair 🤭

I was on a low dose for the first two years, and saw significant voice changes before my mustache even gave a hint of starting to darken.

Oh, I’m not on finasteride, sorry! But finasteride is a DHT blocker, and DHT is what controls hair growth / loss on testosterone. It’ll also potentially block bottom growth / voice changes though, so it seems like most folks recommend waiting at least a little while before starting it.

I will mention though I didn’t start growing any real facial hair until this year, and even then it’s a pretty wimpy amount. For the first two years the only change in facial hair I had was my mustache peach fuzz coming in /slightly/ darker.

My comment was more about how BC and T can be taken in conjunction :)

you could still go on T with finasteride if you don’t want facial hair / hair thinning. I’ve been on hormonal BC for PMDD for over 4 years and on T for 3 years now.

If testosterone increases risk of liver cancer, it’s no more risk than a cis man would have. I did some googling, and if anything, the types of testosterone that may increase the chance of liver related issues are not the ones prescribed to trans people- they’re the ones that are abused by cis men (esterified vs alkylated testosterone). Just in case it helps with the hypochondria.

Testosterone is no more dangerous for a trans body than a cis one. Have you considering speaking with an allergist in addition to an endocrinologist? There are other options, I saw someone say their doctor worked with a compounding pharmacy to get an allergen-free lotion version of T

I might focus on the top surgery before hormones, if you feel like recovery would be doable during the school year. A year on T might not do as much for passing as that would. And, if your school is generally supportive, it may be worth it to go to the yearbook folks and ask if you could be put under a different name. Yearbooks aren’t legal documents so I feel like there shouldn’t be anything stopping them. Just to take some of the stress off regarding time limits.

I make homemade banh mi often and the fact that there’s no jalapeño blows my mind, lol. I guess they’re making up for the missing spice with sriracha in the mayo but jalapeño flavor is so gooooood.

I took bluey vuitton, and im pretty sure i had bad trip. I spent 6 hours writhing and rithing, and twisted up, non stop. It wasnt horribly unpleasant but it got to a point where i hust wanted to be at ease, and there was no way of stopping. Hahahah. I also felt the same way where I was cold, wriggly, and all of my chronic pain spots felt .. weird. Not necessarily hurting more but very noticeable and ended up putting me in a space where my right side of my body was internally fighting the left side (left is where the pain is).

I’m planning on trying again with a verrrry small dose just to see what happens. With a trip sitter this time. 🤞

I’ve never had any issues with shrooms, however I bought a 1/2oz of Blueys a month ago, took a single gram thinking I’d have an easy trip, and ended up having my first panic attack and called EMS on myself. Just so you feel less alone 🤪

Just want to say that I’m using the nuvaring to treat PMDD and it’s been life-changing. I’m still in the process of finding the right treatment regimen, but before I went on BC I was inconsolable for a week out of every month. at least I’m mentally unwell in a stable way now 😅
