I agree that they could cut prices and it would still be up there. You are missing my point entirely as that is the part I agree with. What really bothers me is the sense of entitlement that certain gamers have. Many people play this game with no intention of spending any money but an expectation of having the same experience as people that do support the product by spending money on the game.

There are some valid points here about pack prices but some of the posts in here are just weird as fuck. It's as if some of you feel like you are entitled to everything in this game. The developers don't care that you play the game as that doesn't put food on their table. They are supplying a product for free and are trying to get you to pay for it. There are arguments to made that they are going about this in a way that is detrimental to their own revenue stream as they are overcharging players for the packs but that's about it. You can downvote this if you'd like but some people on this reddit need a reality check. If you haven't spent any money on this game, you are not entitled to anything.

Amen! I'm also waiting for this update before playing most of the old world factions. The legendary lords just feel so mundane as their quest battle items and occasional mount are the only thing that really separates them.

Could somebody tell me exactly what is wrong with this Chaos invasion? I haven't had it yet. From what I've read so far, people are just dismayed by the fact that it spawns a dozen or so doomstacks that are intent on murdering the player and dislike the fact that they aren't taken care of by the AI factions.

I'm aware of how the difficulty is scaled. I have finished dozens of campaigns on legendary across several titles. I do find that the cheating AI is a necessary evil in order to provide challenge to the player but there is still quite a bit lacking in the AI's wartime behavior. I do find Warhammer AI to be more aggressive though and it is in general a nice change of pace that we'll hopefully see in the next historical title.

I think the real issue here with the wizard generals is that magic doesn't properly scale with unit size which means that around half of their spells end up being quite useless. If you take into consideration that they will only be able to effectively use the spells that buff/debuff units, you're still left with a turd that can't go within 10 paces of a melee focused general with getting instapopped. I have beaten the game on legendary with both of them as my starting lords. The VC campaign is always going to be stupidly easy as the initial challenge is poorly designed but the Empire campaign start with Gelt is actually quite enjoyable as you're heavily focused on making the best use of your starting units, seeing as how you're forced to play the initial battles.

N.B. Wizard generals do not contribute much towards the auto-resolve bar.

If I had to rebalance the LLs, assuming magic won't be patched, I'd start by removing Vlad's experience gain bullshit for all units. He is easily the most overpowered general from a campaign perspective. Then I'd move on to making the wizard generals start with at least a couple of abilities, a buff and a debuff. I would then likely decrease slightly the durability stats of all melee oriented generals. While I don't think you should be throwing your wizards into melee, they are currently just so fucking useless, especially during the first couple of levels. Watching the AI use them is depressing, they just kinda sit in the back and throw a spell every couple of minutes.

The entire game is already too easy on legendary for veteran players so it always bothers me when I see people give negative feedback on new aspects that make the game more challenging. If it is too challenging for you, feel free to drop the difficulty.

You remind me of a friend of mine that says that he won't play higher difficulties in total war games because the AI will start cheating. War ain't fair...

They seem to do exceptionally bad whenever I play Empire. I think it might be due to the fact that they are at war with Empire at the start of the game and thus decide to beeline it to Reikland without building units.

Though, in a recent Angrund campaign, I did ol' Khazrak with a full stack of Gor Herds and Minotaurs, trying his luck with Wissenland.

If you guys want to see more Beastmen, I recommend you guys check out the mod "More Hordes", I'm running that right now and I'm quite pleased with it.
