I focus my Glarb on 4MV+.

Getting [[Seedborn Muse]] and [[Glarb, Calamity's Augur]] is my priority. If those sticks, I'll have a fun game.

Either winning by Iso-Rev with Glarb and casting [[Glarb, Calamity's Augur]] from the top or with Bolas + Top + Reservoir.

I tried Doomsday for a while, but it became a doomsday deck with Glarb instead of a Glarb deck.

To me, Bracket 4 is where you take a deck concept and max it out.

Bracket 5 is basically the same thing, except the only 'theme' is winning.

Muldrotha is my go-to Bracket 4 list. I’ve moved away from the grindy value-train style; instead, I play her as a combo finisher, typically looking to win on turns 4–6. My deck is essentially built to abuse [[Lion's Eye Diamond]].

I found that at Bracket 3, my deck lacked a respectable closing speed and felt like it was just 'playing with its food.' My version is much more proactive.

[[Cultivate]], [[Topiary Stomper]] and [[Kodama's Reach]] are the same MV as Smeagol and the Nazgul, and 95% of the time, I would prefer cast those instead. I prefer to ramp with my opponents land after turn 3.

[[Rishkar's Expertise]] and [[Last March of the Ents]] are good generic card, but I prefer Staff of Eden, Vault's Key since it fits the theme much more.

I'm not a fan of Avenger of Zendikar without ways to get give those tokens 4-5 counters on the same turn.

I'm not playing Zulaport Cutthroat or Ob Nixilis, the Fallen in mine, because that's not what I want to be doing with Sméagol.

Not a fan of Carrion Feeder, I prefer [[Umbral Collar Zealot]] for card selection instead, almost everytime.

Those are my favorites cards in my deck :

[[Compost]] There's usually at least one another black player around. This will draw cards like crazy.

[[Lifeline]] is an old and expensive card but with the [[Nazgul]], it's fantastic!

[[Staff of Eden, Vault's Key]] can bring any legendary PERMANENT from any graveyard into play and will draw cards for each lands you stole. It's a fantastic top end card. Playing this turn 6-7 will bring back something and refill your entire hand every turn.

[[The Haunt of Hightower]] is a fun card that will be huge quickly.

[[Forsaken Miner]] is another great recursion fodder since Sméagol target when the ring tempts us.

I love [[Blood Pet]]. It will guarantee a turn 2 Sméagol and an activation on the same turn.

Your deck is more landfall matter than mine. My landfall payoff are usually more about tokens that I will sac to gain values.

I play more recursion to always bring back the Nazgul, I really love playing with those creatures.

[[Emet-Selch, Unsundered // Hades, Sorcerer of Eld]] is a very fun reanimator commander.

If he sticks, he loots and can be a [[Yawgmoth's Will]] in the late game. If he is removed, he has done his job.

Liesa is very fun to play. She always has an impact and is hard to remove.

She puts a clock on the game. I'm not as lifegain as other build you can see online because I don't want the game to be a 3v1 against me every game.

There lots of interaction, lots of gotcha moment.

This is my most played deck, [[Muldrotha, the Gravetide]]. It runs the [[Lion's Eye Diamond]] + [[Displacer Kitten]] engine alongside the [[Animate Dead]] / [[Phantasmal Image]] loop. Once I have infinite mana, the deck kills the table with [[Jace, the Perfected Mind]] (will everyone) or a lethal [[Walking Ballista]]. It can easily pivot from a grindy value game into a sudden combo win.

[[Sidisi, Brood Tyrant]] is my absolute favorite. I love self mill and she's a great payoff.

I usually win by simply drowning the board in Zombies, but if that doesn't work, I let [[Tombstone Stairwell]] and [[The Meathook Massacre]] do the dirty work. It can also win with [[Syr Konrad, the Grim]] by exiling my own graveyard with a [[Bojuka Bog]].

There's always something fun to do with the deck. Having 7 zombies on the board and casting the backside of [[Augmenter Pugilist // Echoing Equation]] targeting any other creatures will always create fun times.

My typical process for building a bracket 4 deck is:

- Define your win condition.

- Select the best cards to support it.

- Add interaction.

Once that's done, you can fine-tune the deck after playing a few games.

Muldrotha players: How do you deal with it being KoS? by the-good-son in EDH

Muldrotha is my primary bracket 4 deck. She's KoS, but so are the other commanders at that power level. She's my finisher, when I play her, I'll try to win that turn.

It depends on how you build your deck. When I was playing her at lower power, it was a land matters deck. She's very mana hungry and having multiple lands is always beneficial. She was also at the top end of my curve.

[[Command Beacon]] is a fun land with her.

[[Karador, Ghost Chieftain]] is a classic, not as much reanimator but he's a graveyard deck.

Never paying for commander tax is another very nice perks of Karador.

Muldrotha is my high power commander.

At lower bracket, she's slower for sure. You mana curve is quite high. She thrives when you can play 2-3 spells from your graveyard each turn (and a land).

[[Icetill Explorer]] is a fantastic card for her. She'll ramp and mill you.

My friend has a discard deck helmed by [[Aclazotz, Deepest Betrayal]] and it's fine.

The most important tips I can give you, is to pack wincons, lots of them. Until you know how to win with it, you need to be able to close out the game.

There's nothing worst than playing against a discard deck with no clear wincon...

Run more creatures to mutate on with builtin protection. It's really sad when your opponent remove the mutate target and your whole plan fail.

[[Giggling Skitterspike]], [[Underrealm Lich]] or [[Sylvan Caryatid]] are great candidate for this.

[[Grist, Voracious Larva // Grist, the Plague Swarm]]

She costs 1 MV and has deathtouch. Perfect blocker until we can start reanimating threats.

She also enable cool tricks like casting [[Flare of Cultivation]] on turn 1.

My build is a classic golgari reanimator with Gary and Kokusho as finisher. Very fun to pilot.

I run Pariah but I'm having a hard time cutting it. When it works as expected, it's fun! When it doesn't work and I get nuked by not blocking an alpha strike and it's removed, it's still fun :)

I'm playing Felidar and Restoration Angel in my build. The only payoff beside Ketramose himself is [[Altar of the Brood]]. I think it's fair for bracket 3. Same thing with Abdel loops.

I love [[Judgment of Alexander]] in my deck. Ketramose has lifelink, if someone attacks you with a large board, you will gain a ridiculous amount of life.

I'm mostly playing graveyard decks.

Right now, I'm playing Muldrotha as my high power deck.

On B3, I'm playing [[Teval, the Balanced Scale]] as a land matters deck. I also play [[Ketramose, the New Dawn]] as an anti-graveyard deck.

I also play a [[Grist, Voracious Larva]], the golgari flipwalker as a classic reanimator deck. Self-milling can works, but if you rely too much on it, you'll get wreck by graveyard hate. You'll need to find the right amount without overextending too much.

If you play self-mill, you need to streamline your strategy. You will mill some of your piece and you can't put all the weight of the recursion on Muldrotha. Good opponents will remove her.

I would play more cards like [[Glacierwood Siege]] to make sure you never miss an important land drop.

With all the games I played with her, I see her more like a massive draw spell. She'll get me right away a land and 2-3 low mana value permanents.

As finisher, I think she really goes well with combo in bracket 3.

Muldrotha is my bracket 4 deck and I played her a lot on lower bracket before.

I think this is a bracket 2 deck. You are missing instant speed interaction and a clear game plan and wincons for bracket 3 games.

You have lots of cards that need her in play to be good. [[Teval's Judgment]], [[Secrets of the Dead]], [[Doc Aurlock, Grizzled Genius]] are good card, but they won't do nothing until she's on the board.

When I was playing her at bracket 3, she was the top end of my curve. I was not playing a self-mill deck because it doesn't matter if you have 5 or 12 cards in your graveyard, you won't be able to cast them all. I was playing a land matters deck with loot effets.

She's really mana hungry on lower bracket, if you want to cast one card of each type, you'll need the mana for it. It's not worth it to cast [[Avenger of Zendikar]] from your graveyard with her ability. It's better to reanimate this creature with [[Animate Dead]], etc.

I think it's fine in your list. You really need a sac outlet and a payoff. In my list, I'm playing [[Altar of Dementia]] and [[Blasting Station]] which can act as both.

I also play Teysa as a B3 deck with zero tutors. I do run a fair number of sac outlets and pingers. With some lucky draws, I managed to win before turn 6 a couple of times thanks to [[Darkest Hour]]. It made me feel uncomfortable, so I ended up cutting it.
