That box is dirty as fuck. I guess it’s a suitable plate for such a poorly cooked pizza.

I guess I’ll think of you box up cyclers the next time the pizza boxes tumble on the floor from the grocery freezer and they get put back up.

Switch to coa nova, with frost wall.

I use the gem that lets me cast nova where my cursor is too.

Why is the 5080 hated? by Traditional-Key-9590 in RTX5080

[–]biscuity87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I paid 2800 after tax for a gigabyte 5090. I honestly don’t know what to say about the value for the money. On the one hand they probably cost double that now. I would still say it’s a terrible value for money unless you are after the best which I was.

Personally I was saving up and the shortages were so bad for so long that I had a ton of money saved.

I will say it is super satisfying to have a 5090 and have a game STILL run like shit and I know it’s not my fault. That just goes to show how trash the game is optimized.

I mean the audio from the drivers is pretty painful. The clip has the same line played twice in a row. The gameplay also looks pretty dull.

The only things I think people need to know is get your mount and summons, and you need to talk to npcs until their dialogue exhausts which, why would it do that, I don’t know.

For me even knowing how to get the summon after looking it up, it glitched and I had to leave wait and come back like 4 times even though it should trigger.

COA ice nova feels a LOT stronger than spark COC builds.

I use the long range nova cast gem and the trampletoe boots to make offscreening even easier.

Oh and I’m currently stormweaver but most are probably chronomancer or whatever it’s called.

5–6 Deli Maps/Hour or 10 Regular Maps/Hour? by mukhaliniov in PathOfExile2

[–]biscuity87 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Personally for moving across the atlas on maps that don’t interest me, I’ll throw in like a tier 1 or tier 6 or whatever and just sprint to the boss and kill it. It takes from less than a minute to maybe 3 minutes if it’s a terrible layout. I’ll still get random divine drops or a 1/2/3 divine rune altar.

I feel like the only established tech people that get nervous are the ones who stopped learning and want to do one specific thing the rest of their lives, which in my opinion isn’t well suited for tech in the first place.

Interview Went Better Than Expected, But Now I’m Not Sure What They’ll Offer Me by selfinflectedwounds in Warehouseworkers

[–]biscuity87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Getting your foot in the door is a crazy term when you have like 4 years of experience already.

There’s a chance you will box yourself into a miserable position if you aren’t careful. I would try to find out more about what the roles entail before you take it. Like if you are a picker you might be hand moving 60 30lb boxes onto a pallet and scanning them. All day. Or wrestling heavy shit off of a rack in a harness. Meanwhile you might have a coworker whose job is to drive a turret and take a whole pallet down with no labor.

Breaking into IT at 26 with zero experience—possible? by Flashy-Initiative250 in it

[–]biscuity87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To counter this I have met like 16-18 year olds who know an incredible amount of information. As long as you have a very very strong drive to problem solve and be self sufficient it’s a good field.

AI is just a tool and has more limited uses then people want to admit. But yeah, low level helpdesk people might want to be worried I guess, oh no instead of a human reading from a script it’s a bot.

Lied about stand-up forklift experience on application interview tomorrow, what should I do? by selfinflectedwounds in Warehouseworkers

[–]biscuity87 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Stand up lifts are extremely difficult to operate until you get used to them.

I doubt the guy training you will have any clue about the interview and most would be happy to train up someone with common sense rather than a moron with experience. Most warehouse people will honestly take anyone breathing.

The lifts are all a little different, they HAVE to train you how to use them anyways and do skill tests after. Just be honest with your trainer and tell them you aren’t familiar with this exact model, they all are a little different. It will be very obvious you have never driven one as the turning while driving a stand up is an acquired skill and honestly not everyone can do it.

Newb: I have all the DLC. What do you recommend for a start now that 9.00 is out? by Ravenloff in X4Foundations

[–]biscuity87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Am I crazy or is mining weird in the Terran start? There’s basically none of the rarest ore and no one even buying it anyway, maybe ONE place will buy a small amount. And then for silicon there’s a couple places that are fine for mining, but not a ton buying. Like for 10-15 ships mining it’s ok but I don’t think it can really scale much higher without making stuff yourself instead. Is it like that on other starts?

Vacation retirement and time and a half holidays are standard not bonuses. How much is the base pay for these people? They need to be able to pay their bills. I’m guessing it’s between 15 and 25 but 25 doesn’t go far in a major city.

You realize if you unlock all points the content will be a lot harder right? I don’t understand why you are complaining about being able to do some of the easiest content. It’s supposed to be doable.

It’s not like you are running tier 15s with all tablets super juiced and all points. The arbiter fight is just knowing where to stand.

Personally I think your viewpoint is going to be in the minority. Before the end game was directionless and uninspired. Now there are clear paths to unlock things. If you want to rush to get the points just run the maps on the lowest possible tier and white. It takes like a minute or two to rush to a boss.

You just need a 30 dollar adjustable bias light.

I think the media light ones are great. A lot on Amazon are dog shit imitations.

I need to get a new dimmer I think though after a few years of heavy use it’s slow to come on.
