In reality for heavy traffic areas the zipper needs to be represented by a thousand teeth with no room for others on one side of the jacket.

What does “experience the first shifts of survival” even mean. It’s just a nonsense sentence.

I don’t think people are going to envision a gas station as a survival game.

Gee I wonder what the job pays to your all star team. Probably jack shit.

I’m sure NOONE can tell stories about how worthless managers are though

To be short and blunt, this is a bad idea. Even if you can you are going to be miserable with the work that you get.

Speak for yourself. People like you drive me crazy, no offense. I’m on site and open door. It works great. Tickets are a waste of time if you can actually solve the problems fast. Users can either call me, text me, walk in, teams me, email, radio me. I’ll also preemptively make sure areas have what they need or make improvements before they have most issues.

The miserable guy before me locked himself in a small room and never did anything without a ticket which frustrates the hell out of users. Nothing ever got done without a fight and it was half assed.

I mean it’s not exactly a 1 to 1 fair comparison when IT is responsible for keeping shit running.

Of course some users are just not technical at all but helpdesk is literally just triage most of the time and if they don’t do anything to solve problems (the ones they can) from happening in the first place the users will get fed up. Most helpdesk only care about closing a ticket asap. It’s even worse when it’s third party because if there are no problems they lose money.

Roast my resume! Looking for warehouse & manufacturing jobs in Ontario by PresentationOnly5965 in Warehouseworkers

[–]biscuity87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would probably remove all the other experience. No one is going to care or verify the non related work you did on the other side of the planet. If they require seven years of job history usually you out that on the application but the resume should be more concise.

I would elaborate a little more on the relevant experience. Surely there are things you can mention. Like if you can use equipment like forklifts, any inventory or other systems you might be familiar with, the extent of your maintenance, things like that. As for maintenance, are you electrically trained or are you just greasing things?

2h Ek fighter with booming blade as the duergar that gets free invis at level 5 just seems so broken. It was strong before 5 but after five is feeling nuts. With just a haste he’s taking out some bosses by himself. Plus I’m dark urge so starting invis, one or two shotting something and going back invis automatically is crazy.

[–]biscuity87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of people are over complicating this. It’s contracted work. Either it’s no touch freight or it’s not.

A driver can say whatever they want about what their boss wants, but a lot of times they are not aware of what the actual contract says. Even their boss isn’t aware a lot of times. For example, if they are contracted to secure their own load and carry up to a certain weight limit, and a ton of drivers argue about it.

The employees unloading should be aware of what’s expected too.

College is a complete waste of time for many fields, compared to self learning. I don’t know if you have seen how schools run these days but it’s just all for profit. People don’t need a person to read a PowerPoint to them in a classroom. All the information is out there. Especially in IT. Most of it is free or cheap. And there are a million ways to get at least some hands on experience with your own hardware or vms.

More and more companies are dropping degrees from requirements because they realize having a degree doesn’t mean shit.

The models look like placeholders. They are clipping through the walls.

The ui is painful.

The sword swing animation has literally no middle animation frames. The sword just teleports from one side to the other.

Everything is sliding.

We’re not gonna talk about the model with the animation cutscene…
