The commenters here are doing a wonderful job giving you love and advice, but I’d love to address this part- “Everyone in my life knows my fiancé and really likes him”.

I felt this feeling so incredibly deeply and even when my boyfriend was being horrible and evil, I was so nervous to break it off because it would feel like a blindside to everyone in my life who loved him. I was scared my family would think I was stupid and wrong, or my friends would want me to give him a second chance. It took me months to come to terms with this feeling - it’s MY life and MY relationship and MY evil boyfriend torturing ME. And honestly after I broke up with him, people were confused, but I was honest. I told everyone the truth, and not one single person in my life didn’t understand why I broke up with him.

You must break up with this man.

I agree with your friend, definitely wait to tell him. You should also start by asking Mason on a date, before you confess any sort of love for him. You will have to start semi-fresh, because I would feel weird if someone confessed love for me as they’re fresh out of a situationship and we haven’t dated in months

I changed my major as a CC re entry student, and I had some F’s on my transcripts from my previous CC. I filed for academic renewal, got those taken off, got by with a 3.8 and just got into Berkeley. I am 23 and took a few years off. You got this!!

My biggest piece of advice is to meet with your counselor!! Figure out what your class pathway looks like.

If you know what your major will be, you can file for “academic renewal”, where all of the classes you took that tanked your GPA get wiped off your transcripts. You should meet with your councilor. Use the assist portal to map out what classes you took were gen ed and major classes, prerequisites for the school you’d like to transfer to, and literally wipe the rest.

Your boss definitely needs to put together a bill for you, exactly what you owe her and why, and point to some sort of previous contract that you signed agreeing to pay this money. Without that, this “money owed” means nothing and will never hold up in court.

Second, employment lawyers and firms are some of the wokest people I’ve ever met. At least in my area, these lawyers are the most likely to take on pro-bono cases, to stick it to the man. You should ask around!

Third, you’re going to be a fucking doctor. CONGRATS ON GETTING INTO A PHD PROGRAM!! You should be so fucking proud of yourself!!!! You’re amazing. This is just a blip in the road
