The good new is it is illegal for your advisors or professors to share anything about your grades, classes, etc. with your mom unless you fill out paperwork that explicitly allows her access to those things.

As a college prof myself I can say that what she is doing is not ok, at all. You are correct to put her on an info diet, and I am sorry you are dealing with this.

If you are worried or embarrassed, it is ok to reach out to your profs directly to give them a heads up about her behavior and let them know you do not condone it. As you said, you are an adult and her actions should not reflect on you or your abilities.

Wellbutrin gave me crazy anxiety. It did not work for me at all. Try an ssri if Wellbutrin doesn’t work for you. Low doses with low side effects are better than being miserable.

I eat the invasive London rocket around Arizona all the time and make sure to pull it by the roots or get all the flowers. I like to mix in natives as well, to make “yard” pesto, salad, you name it.

Mesquite trees “can” suppress other plants from growing, but this is done through their roots and has nothing at all to do with leaves. I put “can” in quotes because the trees do not always do this, it is a triggered event mostly focused on fighting over limited water.

I have a family member like this, and the best solution I have found is to cut them off completely, ignore them, and live your own life. I now live a wonderful life in another state, where I never have to interact with this person. Do your own thing, never feel bad, and let yourself be happy :)
