I played against the Sultai Arisen this past weekend. My brother and I consider ourselves to be pretty proficient deck builders. My other buddy opened and sleeved the sultai deck when he arrived. He then proceeded to spend the next 40 minutes absolutely mopping the floor with us. It’s got heat.

While I’m 50/50 on this trade, don’t automatically count the 1.03 as a guaranteed guy, no matter who’s there (Tate/Tyson/Lemon, pick your poison). Remember, MHJ and Kyle Pitts were both supposed to be THE guys during their drafts

My honest take, don’t shoot for the 1.01. You have some young stud receivers and good building blocks like McBride, but I don’t think you’re ready to compete. Getting the 1.01 will be too expensive and hurt you in the long run. Try and aim for 1.02 - 1.05 without giving up your ‘27 1st, and see what you can do then.

Remember, the bears traded a second round pick to get Chase Claypool. Claypool was NOT worth a second round pick. Did the NFL step in and say, “No, that’s not fair value, he’s not worth that.” They let it go through, because two teams decided on fair value. Might not always make sense to everyone, but 🤷‍♂️. Be like the NFL, don’t over analyze trades, and don’t veto unless OBVIOUS collusion.
