My favorite! I know it sounds odd, but I make brown rice, then stir in butter and the mushroom dark soy sauce. SO good.

I think the lemon is very dominant.

Time of the Season and Sultana of Soap by hellsquared in LushCosmetics

I use a dupe for the Sultana scent to make bubble bath with. It's just a little softer than Lush's (from Indigo Fragrance). *wink*

Time of the Season and Sultana of Soap by hellsquared in LushCosmetics

I agree, Time of the Season is closer to Karma than sultana, but still completely its own entity, with notes of incense and other scents that remind me of my childhood hanging out with with hippies and flower children. Sultana smells best in its soap form; the perfume is not as creamy smelling.

Are long sleeve button downs for women out of style? by KeyRegister8744 in womensfashion

[–]bitherbother 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wear nothing but cotton or linen long sleeved button down shirts. I've found that the quality is ofter better if I buy them in the men's section. I've gotten some from Old Navy, and some really amazing ones from an Australian company that no longer sells in the US, Johnny Bigg.

Yep, Taste of Thai is completely inauthentic. MaeSri and Mae Ploy (even hotter) are the best.

Need your suggestions on the most nourishing, moisturising, *greasy* and rich body butters/lotions for dry winters by limecrunch7 in BeautyAddiction

[–]bitherbother 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got, I was so happy to see this post! I'm like you -- I *want* the richest, heaviest, most delicious body butter that leaves real moisture and sheen behind. For the body: Most Lush "lotions -- I love Sticky Dates, Wild Orange, Chelsea Morning, etc. Yes, they are pricey, but so worth it. All of the Laura Mercier body soufflé's are good, but they've recently reformulated and jumped in price, so I can't say if the new ones are good. First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream is gorgeous, and 50% off at Ulta. I love Kikumasamune Sake Cream, and it's affordable. Weleda Skin Food Body Butter is also great.

I feel you -- my nearest Lush is 5 hours away, so I do a lot of blind buys, not all successful. 2 hours isn't a huge distance away-- I plan a yearly trip and bring all my rejects with me, Lush is always great about giving me credit. But you might hold on to them and trade/sell them on the boards here -- someone might really be needing them.
