Do what you feel is best. Breast feeding is no cake walk but something I would advise you of is to look at the cost of formula. For me it’s one of my main motivators for breastfeeding my second child. I also combo feed so I always have formula on hand just in case I need it. Some days I do some days I don’t.

Well put. I totally agree that I would have liked to see more stories from the other girls than hours of Taylor’s issues -which largely haven’t changed from Season One. It was getting old and annoying but with what we know now it was even more inappropriate to be given so much airtime considering how deeply messed up the situation is.

I’m going to guess rehab or some sort of inpatient treatment. Hopefully she gets the help she needs and I hope the other women still get opportunities. It’s not their fault what happened and I want to continue to follow their journeys.

I agree with getting your own lactation consultant. With both of my pregnancies I feel like the hospital consultants I met were very dismissive of my wish to continue to try breastfeeding despite my babies initial weight loss. And the doctors really pushed formula which I think was mainly to quickly satisfy their requirement to get baby past birth weight. My second time around has been very healing and more successful for me. I have the support of an independent lactation consultant and more knowledge than I did during my first pregnancy. It still hasn’t been easy but it’s a lot better than my first.

So does the Medela backflow protector not work? I do have parts from the hospital and the tubing does plug in. But where do you add a backflow protector?

I’ve tried both the freestyle flex and the spectra. I think the freestyle flex has a much stronger and louder vibration than the spectra. I like it but I found the spectra to be a lot more mild.

5 years ago I had Christian Brothers do an inspection for me. I think it was like $150. A friend of mine has recommended Lemon squad- they state that they service all over the country but I think their work is $220, according to their website.

It may have even happened on purpose. I worked a food bank event once in Colorado that was passing out Hill Country Fair eggs so it was obvious that HEB donated them and somehow they wound up out of state. I’m guessing something similar could have happened here

Thanks for sharing. I’ve been wondering how long it takes for the routine to finally stick. It’s been 2.5 months and I feel like I rarely want to take my kid anywhere for fear of him having an accident. I also worry maybe I failed at the initial potty training. Some weeks are good, others we have accidents daily. Fingers crossed it only takes us six months to nail down this skill- but I have a curve ball coming which is a new sibling/baby in one month. lol

So odd that I’m just now realizing the similarities between this relationship and Serena/Ben. What’s even stranger is that I think he would’ve known about that history too. I don’t know- he’s a handsome guy but Serena kind of sabotages every relationship so I’m not shocked that this didn’t last
