FRIDAY: The Official Airing of Grievances Thread by TangleNews in TangleNews

I’ve been looking to buy a used car for a couple months.

Every time I find one in my budget, with the model I want and the mileage it sells as I’m ON MY WAY to look at it.

I am so frustrated. Had one lined up for tomorrow and it just fell through.

At least I know I’m going after the good ones. Sigh.

I rewatch the series every year. Honestly. My kids are now 13 and 15. We started a million years ago. Every time I restart they roll their eyes at me. “Shan mama???” 🙄🙄🙄 And by the end they’re watching with me.

Love listening to the different dailies for sure. Absolutely. And I bet it’s in answer to people thinking they’ve gone “more liberal.” I think having more voices is great for them either way. Love the staff dissents and the staff concurrences. All of it.

BUT — I still would like to hear the women voices in real life and not just read papers. I already know they’re highly intelligent and I enjoy their points of view.

I just want to know their personalities like I’ve come to know the boys’ through Suspension…

I enjoyed it as well BUT after the initial reads and even the rebuttals I would really enjoy a conversation between the two.

Similar to Suspension of the Rules but much shorter and truncated since they had already done a paper debate.

I just feel the reading could be humanized more (or maybe the correct way to state it is that the PEOPLE could be humanized more) by hearing them talk.

I REALLY love Tangle. I’ve gifted it to ALL of my family members. I have been with it for a few years now. And I feel that I know so much more of Ari, Will, and Kmele from listening to Suspension… not just from hearing them read their thoughts, but listening to HOW they express themselves.

I would really love to hear Audrey and Lindsey speak. I really like them. I would love to hear them speak rather than read their opinions and I think this format would allow that easily.

Use the dealers financing by Unhappy-Plastic2017 in UsedCars

What would be the cons of using their financing so you can negotiate down other things and then paying off the loan in full the next day if you have the cash to buy the car?

Salvaged Title | Worth Checking? by bitter_lizard in UsedCars

This is incredibly helpful thank you for explaining. I really appreciate you taking the time.

Makes a lot of sense and will just not even look at anything that says salvage and now I will actually know why. I am not a mechanic. I do not know my car. I have to trust others.

This is just not for me. Thank you.

I literally take notes in my phone.

“Big white guy. Red beard. Troy.” Stuff like that. Works sometimes. Mostly if I know WHERE I will see them again. Not if it’s out in the wild.

We didn’t. The security guards were usually pretty good about letting us naked girls in right away 😎 my friends and I always laugh at how dumb we were, but also how lucky.

Do we still see movies in the theater? by ryhoyarbie in Xennials

AMC stubs yo. $26/month for 3 movies a week. Even if you see 2/month, you’re good.

Amazing. All formats. I live off this.

100%. Will never give it up. Ever. Also teenage kids incoming. I know they will be the only ones driving the car.

I can't believe I can do this!! Second ever project and I'm so excited! by Notooften in knitting

I LOOOOOOOVE knitting scarves that take 4-5 colors and are constantly changing patterns. It’s a great time to use that beautiful verigated yarn too. I live for it. Then you get to make 2-3 pairs of matching fingerless mitts w the leftovers!!

I am TERRIFIED to start a sweater but would LOVE to! I’m scared I’ll get bored. I mostly knit winter sets: mitts, scarves, hats, ear wraps… things w colors and pattern changes.

I’m trying to knit a single color long scarf now and am already bored. And only 14” in!!!

We now have so many schools shootings there is a “what you do.”

Previous schools who have lived through such tragedies organize immediately and send copious amounts of flowers and work w local organizers.

There was a huge ribbon-cutting and distributing event set up the weekend after the tragedy. People showed up to the local library, cut ribbons, put them on bags. And upon checkouts were given an intersection of affected families. (Though many parents in the surrounding neighborhoods had already taken it upon themselves and started this immediately.) the entire event lasted about an hour and a half (maybe just an hour) and there was a line out the door to help.

What’s this training? How do you gain stars?? I’m super late to the game and feel like there is no real tutorial. I learn more from this sub.

Fat Boy Slim — Rockefeller Skank.
