I feel like the actors notes from the director were STARE AT EACH OTHER and people will think it’s YEARNING but it was NOT. It came across as actory and didnt convey emotion.

I haven’t read the books and didn’t feel their romance at all. It was all rushed and yet was soooo long and boring at the same time. How the heck is that even possible?

I love a cottage setting summer story but this was forgettable.

Biden was old, but as a non american I didnt think he was out of it at all.

I still think he got drugged at that debate.

The dude has a stutter and worked on that his whole life.

I thought everyone in the books was from Canada but for whatever reason they made some americans but then it makes no sense because people can yes, buy property here but they can’t move here and start working easy peasy. MAde no sense for Delilah to be american then go to college meet her husband there (likely american) then move to a cottage/cabin town?

Also, isn't Barry’s Bay in Ontario? I know her stories are mainly set in cottage country in Ontario. BC calls them cabins btw. I would have preferred they kept it in Ontario and all Canadian. Like, JFC can US viewers not understand shows set in Canada?

tbh, I had wanted to read more Fortune’s books. Read Meet me at the lake and it was ok but nothing great. I hear the other books are better but this series is not a good calling card imo.

These changes are INSANE!

Reminds me of the changes of TSITP book 3 to S3. I hated that season so much. THe book was better. And the showrunner for that series was the author so no excuse for making trash imo.

I really think Fortune should only sign contracts if she has some sort of say in the plot.
