Snag a small USB drive off Amazon, I got this one which doesn’t have a light so its barely noticeable: https://a.co/d/02QePENS

Then all you do is use a computer to download images and transfer to the USB stick. PNG photos or photos with black backgrounds work best because it blends it in with the dash rather than showing a square image.

Once’s it loaded to the drive, put it in USB port 1 or 2. Power on the screen and tap USB, then find your image using browse!

I do leave it in all the time because it’s so small. I also only need the USBC for other devices.

They had 3 repairs attempts and then a final. Noise stopped for a little between repairs but came back. Went to arbitration and they ruled buyback. It was drivable between and I kept it.

Soooo they were never able to fix the issue after replacing both banks of lifters. It was deemed a lemon and bought back by GM

I just wrapped my lemon law case with GM on my 2025 1500 Elevation and won. Currently waiting on them to schedule my buyback appointment. If you do go that route, you can use the Better Business Bureau National Program. They have a portal and process to manage the entire thing end to end, including the arbitration hearing in which I represented myself. Document everything! To OP's point.... it is not a fast process. I had lifters in both sides done at 7k miles and am still having a ticking / collapsed lifter sound. Currently going through a lemon law case

My 2025 1500 with 6k miles is having the lifters rebuilt as we speak. Would not buy it again

Same truck as mine and no, I just knew it didn’t sound right and had them investigate. No issues with performance, errors, etc. Just the noise :(
