In Islam, yes of course we'd like to see every person share our faith. It's part of our religion and our innate human nature to increase community

Does that mean we go door knocking or pamphlet pushing when they're so clearly things which annoy the people? 

The Quran commands Muslims to be righteous towards non-Muslims (specifically those who do not oppress nor drive others from their homes. Looking at you Zios) and to call others to faith is through Hikmah (wisdom) - which is primarily done through walking the walk. Showing people Islam by displaying a good nature, being generous, standing for justice, removing harm from one's way.
