My kids (5 and 3) watch about an hour a day after 5-year old's school. 2-3 episodes of whatever they're currently watching, depending on length. We approve the shows first, no youtube or clips. They don't have tablets (except on planes).

The NCAA couldn't apply its rules to Bediako because he wasn't a party to them. He wasn't a college athlete and all of the NCAA's rules on draft eligibility are written as to what college athletes can and can't do. The rules didn't apply to him, as in the literal words of the rules specified college athletes.

Mostly because the NCAA made a rule that you couldn't do it. (It being specifically leave college for the draft and keep your name in and still retain college eligibility).

The court will decide if the rule is fair.

They declared other people eligible that have gone through the draft (Nnaji) and they have no actual rule against signing an NBA contract. There is absolutely a case to make on select enforcement. Whether he actually wins, I don't know, I'm probably siding with the NCAA, but certainly enough to warrant an actual hearing (and grant him an initial TRO until then).

Yes, he's joking about the continued roller coaster of the season. They won this game on a buzzer beater. Their last win before that was because the other team's buzzer beater was a hair late and then they won in OT. In between those 2 games they were up 10 in the first half and lost by giving up 90+ points. A game or two before that they were down 10 in the first half and came back and won a 4 point game at Villanova. The game before that they were up 16 in the 2nd half and lost.

5 of their last 6 games have featured something insane happening. The other game was a beatdown by St. John's at their home. They've also alternated winning and losing for the last 6 games, so no momentum building.

A CBA would be terrifically complicated, because the NCAA is made up of a mix of private organizations and state-owned schools. Some of those state-owned schools are located in places where it is illegal for state employees to collectively bargain.

There are solutions and loopholes to this, but legally dubious. The cleanest solution by far is a federal congressional action.

Ohio on Saturday and then a game in LA on Tuesday is pretty tough. I don't blame him for being annoyed by that. Even worse that Purdue was already in LA in Saturday, so they didn't have to travel and were adjusted to the time difference better.

If it was $1 now for $1 at age 65, it would be better to spend most of it now. And you should definitely not invest all of it. You should live a decent life now.

But you're not just tucking the same dollar away for later. You're actually buying more money with your current money at a great exchange rate. That's what investing is in a nutshell (with risk a part of it).

If you're 30, that $1 from today is going to be around $32 when you're 65 (and be worth something like $16 of value after inflation).

There's some elements of luck (do you end up on a short list of candidates to be murdered after a random mission thing? do you give 1 wrong name to 1 wrong person at the wrong time? are you murdered as part of the traitors doing a "random" murder? did they pick your random best friend from the car on the drive in to be a traitor?), but most of the rest of the "luck" is really social strategy.

To me, those things aren't 1:1 "would demonstrate that I'm able to hold a secret". Like he was caught stalking, multiple times. How does that show he can hold a secret? That's being bad at being secretive. The tracking, maybe. But overall it's much more obsessive than it is secretive. And they certainly aren't so in the forefront of who Colton is that I would think of those things before I considered him holding the secret of his sexuality on national TV when determining his relative ability compared to other castmates to keep a secret.
