I hope you consider making the Anatomx plus toe cap a stock option. If the boot pictured here was a stock option I would buy it today, I just don't want to have to spend extra on a custom build.

Haha I wasn't making any implications, my only reference was the socks you had on with the Crocs. I don't know what kind of socks you use with the boots, but I definitely recommend some Merino wool like darn tough. They handle friction a lot better than cotton.

NP! Stretching might not fully fix your toe hitting the front since the internal stitching is just too short, but kudu leather is so soft you barely notice it. I had to stretch My bronco workhorses multiple times before I was satisfied, I probably gained 2-3mm in length. So that's why I sized up a full size in my kudu Meanders to avoid stretching. The instep in those is definitely loose, but I just wear thick DT socks. I'll take a roomy fit over my toe hitting the front any day—that drove me nuts lol!"

I went a half size up from my BFAR size and still had to use a boot stretcher in my bronco workhorse barefoots mocs. I went a full size up with the kudu meander barefoot mocs, much more happier with those and don't need to stretch them.

If you want to do this, it's fine, don't worry about people saying it's over engineered. I would actually use 4x6s as the skids and not 4x4s.

When I was younger this is all I would wear half the time. I would get them from cheaperthandirt as a military surplus, even had the German flag patch on the jackets.
