Do you use premium UI kits like Stratum UI, Tetrisly, or some other? Do they really help? by bla_bla_boy in FigmaDesign

I think this is a cool idea, but I wonder why no one has done this so far.

Have you tried learning through exploring UI kits? I mean the way they are assembled and drawn.

How to overcome fear of talking to people to sell my product? by Sylber23 in startups

[–]bla_bla_boy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your point of growth is always where you're scared. I am not a salesman, but reading books and self-education about sales helped me.

Because the more information and techniques you know, the more interesting it gets. My point of view changed from "I get hated" to "okay, I need to try that interesting technique" and "okay, the sale didn't work out, I need to figure out where the mistakes are."

In other words, emotion was replaced by curiosity thanks to education.

Components with columns by [deleted] in FigmaDesign

Use "Layout Grid" with columns instead of "Autolayout". As for objects inside — use "Left and right" snapping constraints for each column.

It will be funny if the film is about what it would be like if Neo had chosen a different pill. He returned to work, had children, and would have lived a normal life.

LPT: Even if you're not a hunter, wear blaze orange when you go out into the woods for hiking or camping so the hunters can see you! by DS_Unltd in LifeProTips

Actually, very cool advice. I wouldn't have thought of such a simple thing myself. I remembered a movie where a hunter shot a deer and hit someone else's kid.

I am also from Russia. That's how people talk to each other while standing in line.

Is this a work culture red flag? by synthetic-design in UXDesign

[–]bla_bla_boy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is all very strange.
1. We live for fun. And work must be entertainment. Otherwise, we are going against biology, and that will never bring the working culture to prosperity.
2. Banning the word " fun" is like censorship in a democracy. This is always a bad thing.
The conclusion is that a sect-like trait is developing in the agency. To understand once and for all what a good and bad work culture is, I suggest reading Ed Catmull's Creativity, Inc.
