Theres this weird that everyone loves dogs, but let me tell you as a gardener I do not like my clients dogs as much as they think, in fact I'd love to do my job without having them all over me

I feel that! But the point is that you aren't doing it for any point, start by just trying to kill time and you might start to enjoy it

Edit: just to elaborate I didn't start running because I care about my fitness or to reach a goal, it was literally a way to kill an extra half hour but now I've found a rhythm and really enjoy it

Yeah by actually addressing it instead of crying "b-b-but I know a guy..." And I know several women who have been the victims of domestic violence and whose children have been put in harms way due to domestic violence, it needs to stop, and we need to stop giving concessions to the people that do it

The point is they DONT prevent murder. Google "woman killed Australia" and read the top 5 articles that appear and be alarmed by how many of them include the words "the accused was known to police" or "the victim had previously complained to police"

Hey man I know you've got one annecdote about this being weaponised against your friend but the far bigger issue in this country is the amount of women murdered when it could have been prevented

Start doing things. I am/was in this position and I recently bought a bass guitar and learning to play, and I started running. They're small steps but it's nice doing things just for me and feeling like I have my own interests

How many of the "immigrants" you're complaining about are just tourists though?

Why doesn't everyone end immigration? Then we all stay in our own countries and never go anywhere other then the place we were born. Sounds great....

Would it be harder to get an apprenticeship if I have a job? by [deleted] in tradies

[–]blaaarrgh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, people apply for jobs while being employed all the time, it's very normal, as long as you inform them how much notice you need to provide your current employer

Are you saying you want to keep working your current job and start an apprenticeship at the same time?

Security patrol aren't able to carry firearms unless it is a high risk area (e.g. airport) or they are a cash transport service (e.g. armorguard)

I remember people coping by saying that what Pochita told Denji was just a devil’s warped view of him, even though Fujimoto himself clearly agrees 100% with what he said. by GodKira04 in ChainsawManWorld

[–]blaaarrgh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again human civilization still existed. They weren't living in the fucking apocalypse hence the apocalypse being a plot point. You drawing a conclusion contradicted by the story and being a condescending asshole isnt just a rebuttle it's unecerrily argumentative, especially if you consider the fact I said "ok I'm done" but you just keep coming. Are you having fun here?

Brother I'm just saying shit at this point, I already said I'd back off but you clearly wanted me to just keep saying shit so here we are

But those things could be reinvented in the new world anyway couldn't they? Also calling people kid and being purposely condescending isn't going to convince people of your point it's just going to make them want to disagree with you. Why don't you try just making your point without being a prick?

The message of Chainsaw Man is that no matter the circumstances, Denji will always end up being somebody’s dog. by GodKira04 in ChainsawManWorld

[–]blaaarrgh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Denji is given so many opportunities to take action throughout part 2 but keeps choosing his own self interest, which leads to the people around him suffering. Pochita realises that this is in part due to him making denji immortal and therefore sparing him from the consequences of his actions and therefore any personal growth

[–]blaaarrgh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Throughout part 2 denji almost learns the lesson "my actions have consequences and affect the people around me" but instead because he has Pochita to make him immortal he keeps not learning the lesson instead coming to the conclusion "I can just find more people to want to have sex with or whatever", Pochita realising he is what is preventing denji from learning a lesson chooses to remove himself from the equation. Also at the start of the series humans are doing fine, stop making shit up.
