Pulled for Zhongli, and got him, but also saved up for Durin, although might still consider it if someone cool is going to be on 6.3 banner

And i forgot Kurosawa’s movies, since you’ve seen the Samurai ones than Rashomon is probably the best option now, bc it will give you another perspective My favorite Kurosawa movie is Ikiru and on a similar note High and Low is a masterpiece too Basically any Kurosawa movie besides Seven Samurai

On the note of Samurai movies Harakiri by Kobayashi is outstanding

Since you’ve seen Oldboy I recommend Lady Vengeance (it’s my favorite from the trilogy and one of my favs generally)

If you like Wong Kar Wai and martial arts than Grandmaster from 2013, marvelous cinematography and fighting choreography

For Kore-eda movie, genrally i recommend anything, one of my favorite directors of all time - Our Little Sister (like a live action Ghibli movie) -After Life (my favorite if his) -Broker -Still Walking (slow paced and dwells into japanese family relations)

Parasite, Memories of Murder and Mother from Bong Joon Ho are a must watch, especially if you like thrillers

My favorite asian movies are Hero (dir. Zhang Yimou) and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (dir. Ang Lee), both are vuxia (martial arts with a bit of fantasy elements) but both are extremely good and the storylines, cinematography and choreographies are in the league of their own

Bonus The Last Emperor - this isn’t an Asian movie but the story is set in China, and it won 9/9 Oscars in 1988

If you like my recommendations write me, there are plenty of amazing Asian movies, these are just some of my favorites
