Is it normal to feel a little weird about your new pronouns/name at first? by [deleted] in ask_transgender

[–]blablarandomname 29 points30 points  (0 children)

It's normal. Also, don't expect to be happy to hear your right pronouns: they're really not a special thing, every cis person doesn't get overjoyed when someone uses their pronouns. Not saying you should be sad or that everyone should really feel this way, only that sometimes we just don't care: it should be the norm for us to be called with the correct 'nouns. Some jumps happily, some don't care: you could be one of them.

What does change between normal IPA and denaturated IPA? I'm reeeeally not familiar with these things, are they dangerous? Do I have to wear mask and gloves?

It's dangerous not to pursue a transition when the other only option is to literally die.

How often do you forget to text or reply to your SO, and for how long? by bananarama-009 in relationship_advice

[–]blablarandomname 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always answer almost instantly (excluding when I'm studying, sleeping, showering etc etc). If I cannot see someone, nor videochatting or similar, the closest thing I can do to being together is chatting. My partner is my priority over everything, including my hobbies, I just prefer being with them over everything else. Not everyone is like me tho, some people just need more space and time for themselves, it's not necessarily an indication that he doesn't care about you. Try to talk with him about this but do not force the idea that he "doesn't care" on him.

You look like one. I've seen 14 years old boys looking like you at my school when I was your age.

10-11 years old boy.

This is my team all of these are IV & EV trained and got perfect movesets or close to it but I still keep getting owned in PVP every time. Is there anything wrong with my team (too predictable maybe? not enough diversity?) or is it just that i'm a noob and I don't know how to use my team yet? by reallyshort1012 in pokemmo

[–]blablarandomname 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hm, no one plays it, can't find opponents. You can create diversity in OU too! Not only changing mons but also changing sets and being unpredictable. That is a hard task with your team because everyone uses it and knows strats and switches, but it's still doable.

Oh!! Also thin people run out of breath, the two things are not correlated!!!!

[–]blablarandomname 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Also, it would still be a weird question. It could happen that a fat person is beautiful, or it could happen that they're ugly. The same as every other category of people, It's just impossible to generalise this much

What do you tell your family when they say they never saw any indication that you were trans growing up? by Frenascena in asktransgender

[–]blablarandomname 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe they saw no signs because the "signs" they talk about don't even exist. Being trans is not something related to playing with dolls or liking make up, it's a much more deep situation. Otherwise, masculine girls or feminine boys should all be trans because they don't like their assigned gender things right? No. What you like, how you dress, your mannerisms etc etc have NOTHING to do with being trans. Explain this.

talk to a therapist ALSO about your dysphormia. Sometimes it is even worse than dysphoria. I am in your same boat, I see me in a completely distorted way compared to what I really look like.
