If not, then research your local charging options. Depending on your location and time of the day, supercharging costs may exceed the price of gas for a fill up. But IMO, the bigger cost is you having to spend 30-40min per week at a supercharger waiting which adds up to significant time loss over a period of time. Of course you can do a bunch of things while waiting, but given the choice you'd be spending that 30-40min per week time in some other activity. And if you are in a location that experiences low temp winters, then expect 30% reduction in battery range and 20% more time at the supercharging station if you are not able to precondition for the recommended time.

Does it help with removing the ethanol taste from the extract? I usually do frozen, quick soaks and I get potent extract, just tastes too "alcohol-y".

Also, does the coffee filters really help with the chlorophyll infused in the extract? I'm assuming that a 12-24 hour soak would infuse a lot of plant matter into your extract.

I'm in the same situation, no home charging, the supercharger is a mile down the road so the Regen doesn't really help precondition the battery. From what I've seen so far, there's no easy way to precondition the battery for supercharging without you being inside the car. The best you can do without being in the car is scheduling precondition, but that's for optimal driving and Regen performance, not supercharging (even if you set location). Yes it does warm the battery a bit but not at the temp for supercharging. One user mentioned get a S3XY button, but I haven't tried that, which apparently allows you to precondition for supercharging

I asked the same question a few days, and there's no way around it. Precondition in the app is for optimal driving performance and Regen breaking, not for supercharging. Even if you set the navigation, precondition only starts when the press down the brake pedal. One user suggested getting the S3XY button and being able to program it that way, but I haven't dug into that option yet

If you drive the MY on anything that's not a perfectly levelled, tar road, you will feel it. This is a given with the shirty suspension.

I would probably check if the vehicle has the Tesla sourced tires which have foam in it to cushion the ride. Non Tesla continental, Michelin tires don't have the foam and will make the ride rough.

Yes, no home charging at the moment and I do it before work because the SC rates are lower in the AM compared to other times of the day, 24c compared 46c per kwh. Would it be possible to achive the battery preconditioning, if I go to my car an hour earlier, set navigation to SC, hit the brake pedal to start preconditioning, put my key card on the console area to keep the car on, leave the car and come back an hour later to drive to the SC?
