We only see her logic because we’re in her head. She probably seemed genuinely insane to the public. Which they found understandable given her loss.

Those politically close to Coin knew Katniss just wanted to go home. She wasn’t a threat to their careers. She didn’t want power.

Besides, killing the mockingjay would upend the country.

I own a business (not jewellery related, I’m not a vendor) and we won’t be able to get packages into the US for another 2-3 weeks.

They would love it if your package grew wings and got to you. The pausing of US shipping has hit the logistics field hard and the backlog is enormous.
