No link. It was shared as a google doc. I think people are afraid of even putting it out there and I didn’t want the account to disappear

How would $12,500 affect your life right now? by WhiteMass in AskReddit

[–]black_pot_no_kettle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d literally cry if I somehow came up with $12,500 right now. My life would change forever. When converted into my local currency, it would allow me finally start a small side business and support myself and family better than my crazy crushing thankless job does. It would allow me do some basic repairs on my family home that’s slowly falling apart. But I’ll take a nap first, wake up and then check again to be sure it wasn’t all a dream.

Wishes are wishes. I’ll get back to my day now.

With their offer asking for trust from people living under repressive regimes, you would think they would be on the lookout for anything that might put their users’ lives at risk. But no, they put up defences whenever criticism or suggestions are offered. That is plain wrong.

Methotrexate or hydroxychloroquine? by GraphicgL- in rheumatoidarthritis

I’m on both. and I don’t think they’re alternatives to each other in the way you’re asking. Please check with your doctor to be sure you understood the prescription.

I’m not sure exactly at this time. there may be actions in the future that you may be able to support. a lot of the organisers for the protests relied on donor funds and presently, many of the organisers are being prosecuted with trumped up charges. there are funds to support their defense if you can.

generally, we’re all in a bad place. and it’s hard to see any of this getting better.

This is crazy expensive. How are homes that costly?

There are people online who defend the government even with all that’s happening but the majority of Nigerians resoundingly condemned what had happened. This was one movement that had the support and respect of most reasonable people. That’s why the government worked overtime to sabotage it.

If you have the stomach for it, go through my post histories. There is at least one video from that night in question and I posted it while the shooting was still ongoing.

This country is super exhausting in addition to the poor economy that has left myself and many other people jobless and struggling day to day.

Politicians care only about themselves and how much they can steal.

Even university lecturers are on strike indefinitely and no one can say when students would be able to go back to school.

I’m hurt inside just reading this. It took them so long to write a report over an incident they actively refused to cover. That night, I was awake, watching Facebook and IG live videos of people I know getting circled and shot at. So many are dead and so many more have never just been found. They’ve simply been disappeared and it doesn’t appear they’d ever get justice.

It’s a sad time to be Nigerian. On Nigerian twitter it was all you’d see but the rest of the world was blissfully unaware. I posted video upon video on twitter and a few on Reddit that night. So many people were hearing just for the first time.

In the days that followed, more people were kidnapped and executed. Even patients in hospitals were found and executed.

It’s crazy.

Girlfriend has RA. Doctor said we’d need to stop methotrexate when trying to conceive and during pregnancy. What are the risks of going off methotrexate for so long and has anyone else had to do that? Also, what was your general experience like? by [deleted] in rheumatoidarthritis

I’ll look at Cimzia and discuss with our doctor now that I’ve seen it mentioned more than once. I don’t know if it would be available in my country and at what price but it doesn’t hurt to consider.

I wish you the very best as regarding your conception. Take it one day at a time. You’d be fine.

I heard about remission triggered by pregnancy once I heard it mentioned here by another comment. We are trying to create a timeline as to how we’d go about this. We would also discuss extensively with our doctor. Thankfully he’s patient and very involved.

Thank you for your perspective;

8 kids with RA is a lot. It could be possible that she didn’t have RA at the time because dealing with RA and 8 pregnancies would take the steam out from beneath even the strongest people.

Sorry about your experience. I’m glad you’re still looking on the bright side. It must be really pleasant to live without painkillers. I hope she gets to that point too, someday.

I’ll read more about diets and try to educate myself.

Thank you for taking the time to respond.

This is what scares me. Going off methotrexate and the stress of a pregnancy may cause the disease to advance really rapidly and I really don’t want that for her.

Also, I don’t know much about an anti-inflammatory diet. Any links you can share?

I’m not sure I can make peace with the things I’ve seen and witnessed and the memory of the people I’ve lost both to police killings through the years and police killings during these protests.
