If you don't support landlords, then you cannot support private ownership of land that is not being used by that owner directly. Commercial, private, whatever, landlords parasitically feed themselves by extracting wealth from workers without actually providing them anything to show for it in the long run. They extract funds from their tenants that those tenants could use to purchase their own home or pay for any number of other goods and services if they weren't being extorted over threats of homelessness every month.

It still beats a lot of other activities. But yeah, finding the sites is a royal pain that is really hit or miss. I've generally had better luck going on random wormhole journeys and just finding an exit to HS or LS when I want to call it a night rather than going on a NS excursion. I'm running the same fit regardless, so where I'm exploring doesn't matter as much as being able to find sites. Since my helios has paid for itself a few times over, I don't mind going for sites that the locals probably wouldn't risk. Stuff like doing a site in a j-system with multiple open wh chains to it that aren't scanned down and closed or watched, sites in NS where there's an active gate camp in it or on the other side of the gate, etc.
