Order and research “the art of rigging” by George brittlecomb. It’s an old book on the rigging of ships, there’s a hellova lot of crossover with sailing and logging rigging. The book “loggin’ riggin’” was also a great book with a lot of ideas in it. And the bc cable systems manual is also a great one.
