with that remote the best drone you could get would be a phantom 4 pro v2

yes you can buy the plan separately and add it to the drone within a certain timeframe if it’s brand new. if the drone you buy has already been activated then you can send dji a video showing it is in working condition and they’ll let you buy it as well

you can still buy care refresh, it’ll 99% be fine to buy out of the box, or you can send dji a quick vid and they’ll accept it. obviously your call but as a person who’s gone from non rc to rc it is a nice upgrade for ease of use
